I found this video that looks like it must be Jesus Conference 2016. It's a panel discussion with Lou Engle, Bill Johnson and Benny Hinn. Hinn monopolizes most of it. This is the most revealing I've ever seen him as far as creating the right atmosphere in his meetings. He mentions "Kathryn," which is Kathryn Kuhlman, the "last youth generation" false prophetess. Hinn believes he has acquired her "anointing" by visiting her grave. Apparently, close proximity to the deceased can facilitate the transference of the desired anointing.

It's clear from listening to him that his meetings are staged from start to finish. Imagine the nerve of saying: "God cannot operate outside the atmosphere dear Bill was talking about." God also needs the excitement of a large crowd according to Hinn.

It's pretty long but the parts where Hinn is especially revealing are 9:05—16:27 and 18:37—23:14

Yeah Benny Boy has been doin the same copy and paste style healing conference over and over.

Reminds me of Peter Popoff. He would say things about ailments people had in the crowd and be completely right every time.

One day someone put a microphone recording the sounds outside the auditorium.

Peter's partner was interviewing people b4 hand about their problems and then feeding info thru a microphone to Peter.

Completely false.

Yet years later he was selling prayer handkerchiefs and people were falling for it all again. Even tho proven false people still followed him

As if charismatic preachers are your enemy.
The brethren.

One day get a clue and focus on all the damage the devil is doing.

Your backs are smooth where he is running you over with hate for the body of christ.

Get into the real fight.

Attacking charismatics is a spirit.

It is called esau. (Hatred of your brother)

Very sick.

LOL, yeah, Popoff got caught red handed. It was James Randi the stage magician who busted him. Randi also exposed Uri Geller as a fake on the Tonight Show. He also had an ongoing offer from 1964 to 2015 to pay $1,000,000 to anyone who could demonstrate a true supernatural ability. A lot of people tried but no one ever succeeded.

I think some people just don't care if a prophet is false or not; they like someone and that's good enough for them. Which to me is truly unfortunate, they're the ones who keep them in business.

Jimmy Swaggart still has a TV show and a following. Jim Baaker has a fairly well-know TV show and ministry. It boggles the mind.

Yeah, the Holy Spirit of course Has the power to do great wonders and miracles etc..

But like I said b4.. it's his external acts of power rather than being bought on by our effort or faith.

But examples like Peter Popoff and Benny Boy are pretty clear cases of self or groups trying to induce (conjure ? ) the Holy Spirit to work.

I think Hinn may think he's inducing the Holy Spirit to work. But as I see it, whether he realizes it or not, he's not really manifesting the Holy Spirit (the Holy Spirit can't be manifested or induced). He's creating an atmosphere where people are put into a relaxed Alpha state which makes them more open to suggestion. Suggestions like: give lots of $$$! I'm not just talking about Hinn now; but Bill Johnson and all the others who do the same thing.

Personally, I think he knows exactly what he's doing. He's had a long time over the years to perfect his stage craft. He may be deluded, and convinced himself he's actually manifesting the Holy Spirit. If so, he's seriously deceived.

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. (2 Tim 3:13)

Mr. Hinn is a seducer. But there is no need to spend too much time discussing him. He will give account for making merchandise of the Gospel.

But Benny could still take a few lessons from Joel Osteen and his Gospel of Prosperity. Joel is worth $100million. Seems a lot of our pastors are preaching the Gospel of Prosperity, for themselves. Here's a list of our 10 richest pastors, wouldn't be so bad, but they are milking their flocks for the money: Top 10 Richest Pastors In The World 2021 & Their Net Worth » www.ezone57.net

Funny, but I don't recall Jesus preaching a 'Gospel of Greed' nor do I believe that any of His Apostles, except for Judas, sought exorbitant worldly riches at the expense of their followers.

I don't know if anyone caught something Benny Hinn said in the video clip starting at 24:38. I just now really figured out what he's talking about.

He says there's an anointing that abides in you, and another anointing that comes upon you. It's this second "anointing" that Hinn, and so many like him, try to "call down." What they call an anointing is really just an altered state of consciousness. If you listen just a little further, he says the "anointing on you" depends on the people's hunger for God. This right here is the whole reason for creating the right "atmosphere."

There's a lot that goes on at these meetings before Hinn even makes an appearance. There's music and people who give testimony of Hinn's incredible healing power. The whole thing is to get the audience into a state of expectancy and anticipation; filled with "a hunger for God," if you will.

There's no doubt Hinn's conjuring up something (or someone), but it's not the Holy Spirit. The Spirit can't be conjured at our bidding. The Spirit is like the wind that blows where it will; it's our job to follow.
