The Bible actually claims that a certain person has all authority.

You say that Paul was led by God. Are you not also led by God? Also, who watches over your soul, as is written in the Bible?
Besides Jesus, whom do you believe is the other certain person with all authority?
I'm not sure what you mean by "watches over your soul"? The salvation of our soul was achieved solely by Jesus, and is not by, nor is it kept by, anything that we may do or not do - that is why He has the title of Saviour and man does not. However, should we partake in things not Christ or God honoring or glorifying, God will most definitely chastise us to correct us for so doing - and it ain't at all pretty when He does so.

[1Pe 1:5 KJV]
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

[Heb 12:8,11 KJV]
8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

Yes, all saved have been/are taught and led by God as the verses I included so inform. However, the difference with Paul is that he was led by God for the purpose of creating scripture to bear God's name (Jesus) before the Gentiles, etc.

[Act 9:13-15 KJV]
13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

[2Pe 3:15 KJV]
15 And account [that] the longsuffering of our Lord [is] salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

Yeah. The “just me a Jesus“ crowd have difficulty understanding the gospel of the Kingdom.

Obey those who rule over you.…” is scripture that most Sola Scriptura people tend to ignore.

My discussion with you has run its course. I wish you well.

@Aaron56 your clarity and understanding in this topic is evident to me in your posts so I'm a little surprised or very surprised why you think that the Catholic Church has come up with "heroes" who we know as Saints who sacrificed themselves for God in the early days of the Church or later in history.
I mean, we all have our reasons for why we think a certain way, but i was just curious.
I enjoy a lot your posts here in this topic despite the fact that we may disagree somewhere else.
Thank you and God bless you.

Hey @Eli1

I think our differences lie mainly in the manner in which veneration of the elders is practiced and the cultural implications relating to the kingdom of God. Even so, I am happy to agree with you about our love of Christ and the Father. :)
