My view

I don't think Jesus is the Living water -----Jesus came to provide the living water to us after His death and resurrection ------the Holy Spirit who is the 3rd and separate person of the Trinity is the Living water ----Jesus is the living Word -----Jesus came to shed His blood to cover all sin for all time ------Jesus provided the way for the Living water ----the Holy Spirit ---- to reside in us to give us eternal life -----

John 7:37-39

Amplified Bible

37 Now on the last and most important day of the feast, Jesus stood and called out [in a loud voice], “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink!

38 He who believes in Me [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Me], as the Scripture has said, ‘From his innermost being will flow continually rivers of living water.’”

39 But He was speaking of the [Holy] Spirit, whom those who believed in Him [as Savior] were to receive afterward. The Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified (raised to honor).

Nope...
Almost but not exactly correct symbolism.
"Bread of life" is a metaphor for internalizing Jesus so that He nourishes you continually and gives you eternal life....as a contrast to the Fruit of three of Knowledge of good and evil gave everyone a death sentence.

Water is a metaphoric symbol of LAW. It can be something as hard codified as the 613 Mosaic Laws or as unwritten like a tradition.
Living water is a metaphor for the law of God fitting the individual to whom it applies. Without any law there is nothing but chaos and death.

okay I see .but "will a cup not pour off its content only?". In the scripture often Jesus is described as full of grace and truth .. Jesus speaks of himself as the truth .. Will it too been same liken to living waters being Jesus is the fountain .

The Torah (first five books of Moses) came before the book of Judges was written or the time of the "Judges" (which really is not a good name for these guys) The 613 laws came from Abraham and the Patrarchs before a written law came about. In fact there really wasn't much writing around before Moses. Moses created the Jewish alphabet. Oral tradition was what the written Law came from (as inspired by God) . Hebrew is the Oldest language still in use today and almost the oldest written language on the planet.

remember this when israel was thirsty in the desert ?

“Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.

And Moses took the rod from before the LORD, as he commanded him. And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock? And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.

And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.”
‭‭Numbers‬ ‭20:8-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What Jesus said about the living water is about the holy spirit and refers to his example of water coming out of the rock a pattern for the spiritual water we get from Jesus the holt spirit which only comes through him

“and did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

a see Christ isn’t the living water he is the source from which e living water ( holt spirit ) flows just as when hey needed water Christ provided water from the rock himself

he gives water to the thirsty and the thirsty drink and live

.
The living water spoken of in John 4:10-14 is for drinking; and later
identified in 7:37-39 as the Spirit, a.k.a. the Holy Ghost.

In a manner of speaking: folks lacking the Holy Ghost are dehydrated.

* There's a water of life mentioned in Rev 22:1 & Rev 22:17. I don't know if
that's the same as living water, but for sure the water of life is available
upon request free of charge to anyone who wants it, i.e. it's available to the
rich and the poor, the saint and the sinner alike, regardless of age, race, or
gender, i.e. straight, gay, lesbian, non binary, trans, and/or dysphoric.

BTW: Restrain from offering Jesus something in return for either the living
water or the water of life. There's no need as that's all been taken care of.

Waters also represent the nations, mankind. When our Savior walked upon the waters, though they raged, He was in command, as He always was and will be. We also walk upon the waters once we are born again.

Of course the Living water is our Savior, which He emparts to us.

Will it too been same liken to living waters being Jesus is the fountain .
Here is the thing that is perplexing you about Jesus being the Living water ------i think anyway

Jesus is the way to Salvation -----once you believe in---which is not just a mere Belief by the way -----belief here is totally believe that Jesus is the Messiah and that He did what He said He did on the Cross ---and you totally trust in Him alone -----your Saved ---the Holy Spirit which is the living water is indwelled immediately in the person at the moment that you receive Jesus in your heart ------so together they are the source of being Saved -------but have separate functions -----

Jesus was the perfect sacrifice for sin and He defeated total separation from God eternally and He opened the Well or River ---He gives us access to ---- the Living Water so Eternal life could Flow in us ------who is the Holy Spirit ---who makes our Spirit Holy to be received in Heaven and -who wears many hats in the function of our lives to help us stay Holy ------Christ just means anointed One ----so the Anointed One lives in us giving us the power and ability to do God's will for our lives -----Christ lives in us ------

This I hope will Clarify it for you ---read the last paragraph --from Got Questions

https://www.gotquestions.org/living-water.html

Jesus uses the phrase “living water” in two instances in the Bible. The first instance is found in John chapter 4. Jesus was tired and sat at a well while His disciples went into town to buy food. A Samaritan woman came to draw water, and Jesus asked her for a drink. The Samaritan woman was quite shocked because Jesus was a Jew, and Jews simply hated the Samaritans. Of course, she had no idea who Jesus was and asked Him how He could ask her for water since He was a Jew.

Jesus ignored the question and went right to the point, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water” (John 4:10). Notice that He does not say that He is the living water, but that He would give living water to her, and when she received it, she would never thirst again. Of course, that does not tell us what the living water is! For that, we must go to another passage of Scripture. In this case, Jesus is in the temple surrounded by a throng of worshipers. He suddenly cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scriptures said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’ But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified” (John 7:37–39, emphasis added).

Here Jesus refers to the Holy Spirit as the living water. External influence of the Spirit had always been given in the conversion and sanctification of the Old Testament saints and prophets, but the gift of the Spirit who would indwell believers had not yet been received (Acts 10:44–45).

So, though many people say that Jesus is the living water, Jesus Himself intended the phrase to mean the Holy Spirit who dwells in believers and seals them for salvation
(Ephesians 1:13–14). It is the ministry of the Spirit, flowing out of a heart redeemed by God, that blesses believers and, through them, brings life and light to the world

Revelation 22:1-2
Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

We see the living water flowing from Jesus.

I take it that Jesus is the source of the living water.

Jesus is the fountain and the water is the youth 😊
