I spew when someone skins an animal.
I had nightmares after I saw a medical movie on how a facelift is done.
I kept seeing these women walking towards me with their faces hanging down below their chins.
Oh my, I hope I don't start having nightmares again.
LOL
Men are not supposed to watch programs like that.
Might change how they view women --- as in your case!

Famous quote by Bruce Jenner:

“Waving the flag at the 1976 Olympics wasn't my idea. It was too much apple pie and ice cream. Not that I don't love my country, but I felt it was my victory up there, I put all the time into it.”

Bruce Jenner quotes (American Athlete, b.1949)

Famous quote by Caitlyn Jenner:

"First of all, I try to be a positive role model."

Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner.
Interesting note here:

Caitlyn Jenner says she's a Christian. What does that mean for Christianity?

Question: Is it possible for Bruce/Caitlyn to be saved?
OSAS.
Could that apply here?
I just realized that he's a bad role model in more ways than one.

In your second quote of him, you posted:

"First of all, I try to be a positive role model."

Look what you posted for the FIRST quote of his:

"too much apple pie and ice cream. Not that I don't love my country, but I felt it was my victory up there, I put all the time into it.”

Seems he wasn't too happy about waving the American flag around. HE did all the work and wanted all the credit.
This is pretty bad as a role model too.

What about pride for one's country and sharing it with all?

Yes, he's a bad role model in more ways than one...

People in the world and unfortunately in many cases in the church too are searching for life and trying to get it by any means that their mind and belief system says is the way to go.

Practicing homosexuality is a work of the flesh - the same as malice and slandering others in the body of Christ is. They are in the same lists but just manifest the flesh differently.

We try all kinds of different things looking for meaning and "identity" and we will only find that when the Holy Spirit reveals Christ's work on the cross and resurrection for them and then we humble ourselves and confess ( which means to say the say thing ) what God says about all of us is true.

The only true identity is what we are in Christ because we are joined as one spirit with Him for eternity. This will satisfy that yearning for meaning and life as we understand our union with the Lord and in our communion with Him - everything comes together and we experience His quality of life - which is true eternal life.

Absolutely OSAS can apply here. Why would a particular sin destroy your salvation which was assured by the shed blood of Jesus dying on the cross for your sins? Specifically, what sin did Bruce Jenner commit that would make you question his salvation? Jenner's being a Christian doesn't mean a thing for Christianity because repenting of sin and contritely confess to Jesus, accepting His sacrifice and inviting Him into one's heart is a personal decision.
Don't mean to hijack this thread, but I can't help it.
Your entire comment up above is the reason why OSAS is such a bad doctrine.
The N.T. tells us to ENDURE, to HOLD FAST, to CONTINUE IN, and so forth.
If he was Christian before and then goes back into the world, what does this tell us?

I don't know the Whole story of Jenner. Was he born again before, after?
IF he was born again before, he definitely disobeyed the word of God. What he did is such a bad testimony for Christianity - which is what I believe the O.P. referring to. In short, he did go back into the world.

Different scripture comes to mind, for instance,
1 Corinthians 5:9-12 where Paul tells the Church in Corinth not even to associate with immoral BRETHREN. One of the reasons is due to idolatry. Could being SO CONCERNED with how you look be called idolatry? I think so. Paul says we are to judge those that are in the church and advise them and help them.

And a funny scripture that comes to mind is
1 Corinthians 16:13...
"be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong..."

We posted at the same moment.

Just to clarify my position...

I'm not saying if a person abandons God and goes back out "into the world" he can never be saved again.
He would have to repent, again (change his direction) and decide, again, to follow God.

IF that person stays in the world and abandons God, then I believe he will be lost.
Not saying Jenner is lost, that's not my place.
He is a bad testimony, however, IF he was a Christian before.

Have any of you looked at Caitlyn's instagram account? I do and the abuse that he gets is terrible from Christians and non-christians alike. Nobody should have to take that. I have posted on it a few times and told him with respect and kindness how he can find a real friend in Jesus if he asks for forgiveness and changes his life. I don't with agree with the change but he should be treated with love and respect. All humans need that.
He is no Christian. Many people say they are but by their heart and actions you can see they aren't. And he not a good role model.

Why do some wonder if a person who practices sodomy is saved or not? Isn't Scripture clear enough, or, are many just hoping they can be that and still get into heaven? What a bunch of confusion we have today among professing believers! This must be judgment for not enduring sound doctrine; 2 Timothy 4:3, not retaining God in their knowledge; Romans 1:28, and for exchanging a form of godliness for the true godliness that comes via transformation and true conversion; 2 Timothy 3:5; 2 Corinthians 3:17ff.
I see your point, but where's the cut off?
Don't we all sin?
To God sin is sin. He's so perfect He can't stand any sin.
It's just different for US.
So is one sin worse (for God) than the next??

I commend your effort in trying to reach out to him however as im sure you're probably aware already that the kardashian family are deep into the occult and satanism. For him to come out of that and turn to Christ there may be severe coincidences. Christ can save anyone but most of these celebrities fear what their "demonic rulers" will do to them or their families

It would be a miracle! Which we know God can do so on my side I will keep praying and think we all should. He can be saved by the power of God!

I dislike pure subjectivity (especially when laden with pragmatism) and the questions that arise therefrom when we're dealing with eternity.

What do the Scriptures say about a professing believer who practices sodomy?

I watched that bunch on TV a few times, out of morbid curiosity (good thing I'm not a cat LOL!)

I have wondered if that environment and all the spiritual influences around him, did not lend to his decision

as I said in my other post, I'm not familiar with him really so idk how far back his desire to be a woman went

to be sure, NOT to turn to Christ is going to be far worse than what a dead thing can do to you (I refer to these entities as dead things because they are.) Fear is not of God and fear is what many have held over their heads.

the K family are illusionists. as in nothing real here folks.

God is able to save to the uttermost (I'm sure you believe that)

I asked you first.
If I lie all the time, is that different?
At what point is salvation lost?
Do we lose it because we sin?
Who doesn't sin?

If you prefer not to answer, that's okay.
But you can't answer a question with a question.

I've never read that Jenner is a practicing homosexual.
Where did you hear that?

Hi Allen, do not quite understand what you are disagreeing with, Bruce Jenner was possibly the greatest athlete of his generation. How did he gain all that strength and endurance in four years? If you are suggesting PED then you may be correct, however that does not change the fact that he out shined the competition.

We do NOT lose salvation when we sin. The ONLY way we CAN lose our salvation is to commit the unpardonable sin of denying God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. THAT is the point at which a person loses their salvation. We don't lose it when we sin, because everybody sins..

Some of these posts are kind of strange for Christians. The bible clearly addresses male to male homosexuality, males acting female, and woman to woman homosexuality, the word of God makes it plain that all of these are a sin against God. God would never call something a sin that a person has no choice in, we are not sinners because of our color, our gender, our looks, out physical ability, out mental ability. Someone mentioned a transgender Christian, sorry folks but that is a contradiction, one can be a Christian or a transgender but not both at the same time.
