the whole topic is warped and twisted right from the start and hence has not been understood nor can or will be understood until the warp or twist is removed - so here we go - there is no matter no matter who thinks or says otherwise - in fact the greatest achievement of science was the dematerialisation of matter but now our humpty dumpty pseudo scientists are desperately trying to put it together again as atheists and materialists - here for those who have ears to hear and eyes to see but neither hear nor see is the substantiation for the Catholic doctrine of substantiation - so we see Jesus knew what He was talking about even if most do not know and will not accept - wincam

So in Genesis God says to Adam and eve out of dust they were made and to the dust they will return but I know nowadays some ppl have themselves burned to ashes and ppl keep their ashes in a jar or something. Is this one of those things that satan tries to pervert God's ways?
The disposition of the body is of no consequence one way or the other. As far as I am concerned, they can drag my body out in the pastures and let the hogs have it. It matters not.

It was a rhetorical question with a twist of humor. If our bodies are defined by subatomic particles, then that would create a problem when other beings incorporate the same particles into their bodies later.

particles as matter or matter as particles just do not exist - wincam

Think martyrs burned at the stake.
