Paul wrote a lot about works - read Ephesians 4-6 for example. Of course he is also about reaching the lost as you say. But the Gospel/salvation is not a separate issue from works and Christian living. If you separate the two you lose the salt and the light!
A true believer who is "caught up in works" will be the greatest missionary and evangelist around!

If you line up the Christians I know alongside a JW and a Mormon, the differences are so obvious and glaring. The believer is alive, is vivacious, is real, and is full of love, kindness, and courage!
Have you seen the Mormons ? they will come to your door and tell you about their faith and then fix your fence and mow your lawn .

Do you see how long we are sealed for ? its to glorification. We cannot be lost .
LOL! It does not say we "cannot be lost" - that is your words - not the words of the text

'Until the day of redemption' . Question when are we sealed until ?

eph 1 13¶In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

That is easy? What does the text say? After we believed, we were sealed with the Holy Spirit, which is but a downpayment of what will be ours when Christ redeems us.

what do you mean by a 'dead faith being unable to save ? save who ? from what ? And doesnt it say the demons believe in 'one 'God ?.
What do you mean what does save mean? What does save ever mean. Save us from the penalty of sin. What else do we need saved from

Can a dead faith save you?

Yeah it says the demons believe. Do they have faith in that one God? That was James Point

James 1

remember folks, this is written to jews only. Has no bearing on the gentile church

remember instead that:

2 Timothy 3:16

16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.…

also -- the Spirit does not work differently in Jews than it does in Gentiles (as though they were a different Species).

Until the dating redemption

That means it can’t be lost until then because it will not be needed then because the end result of our redemption will be fulfilled

Yes I agree

I am
Not saying that James is
Not for believers. It was someone else who insisted that I was just reminding people of what he said

The seal IS the Holy Spirit. And how long for ? until we mess up ? no we are sealed UNTIL the day of redemption. Which is the adoption ( the redemption of the body . Rom 823 )

Agree but that is not what James spoke of. He spoke of the type of belief they have. Vs the type of faith needed to save

Do you think a person can be saved with a dead faith yes or no?

The Gospel is 1 cor .15 .1-4 This has to be belived in order to be saved . Not just mental ascent but from the heart ( Romans 10 . 9-10) I'm not aware of different types of faith . Every man has a measure of faith . He just places this faith in the wrong things mostly.

I don't understand what you mean by a ' type of belief ' . Believing is simply believing. We are commanded to believe with the faculties we have . If you mean believing in vain , then that's different. The access to grace is through Faith . Its an instantaneous believing not an ongoing process . We are saved the instant we believe

You really need to read Isaiah 64 in context, as the manner you're using it is not a proper understanding.

God thought I was worth dying for since He did it. To diminish the value of man is to say God did something that was less than good.
God lists 7 things that he hates; a proud look is at the top of his list.

Psalms 53:2-3; God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. Every one of them is gone back; they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

God thinking that you are worth dying for is an entirely different matter. You said that you think you are worth dying for.

Psalms 51:17; The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart.

So you agree with James. A dead faith (lifeless) never saved anyone?
