@Jackson123 , I don't know where or why you seem to be hung up on someone committing hienious sins and still being right with God.

Sin is death and sin and death seperate us from God.

The only way to remain in God's grace is to keep sins under the blood,once repented of they are never remembered by Him again.
However if you go out and recommit any or same sin then it is a new sin before God and must be repented of.

I believe unrepented sin,when it is shown to us will shipwreck our faith and walk with God if we fail to confess and cover it with His blood. There is a space given to us to repent by the conviction of the Holy Ghost.

When we fail to confess and repent and allow sin to build in our lives then we no longer have a relationship with Him ,for God is holy.

I am a FIRM believer that sin seperates us from God and in that seperating we may find ourselves hell bound!

If our walk DOES NOT reflect the CONDITIONS set forth in His word,then we are NOT believers in Christ Jesus.

I agree. I am a sinner too but because I am a sinner doesn't mean I have authority to make my own bible.
Keep killing not only lose the reward, but lose the salvation.

Some people believe after accepting Jesus, killing is only lose the reward but still go to heaven.

Another friend believe killing only brook relationship with God but still go to heaven

No relation with God go to heaven?

To me this is unbiblical.

When Jesus died all of my sins were yet future - quite obviously . . .

And none of those sins were forgiven before I was born - and none of them were forgiven until I put my faith in the blood atonement of Jesus Christ. Jesus' death made the provision for forgiveness and made it available.

But today the sins of mine yet in the future (and I am likely to commit sins yet in the future) are not forgiven: they are not yet, so there is nothing to forgive: that should be quite obvious. Jesus does not go about selling indulgences so that our future sins are forgiven. But when we do sin, then at that moment in time his blood cleanses us from that sin, and we are forgiven. PTL! Hallelujah!

(1) If a Christian gets angry with his brother and then two hours later confesses and repents of that sin -- what would happen to him if he died in the two hours inbetween? go to hell? or heaven?

(2) If a Christian in his mind/heart for only five seconds get angry with a brother, and then keeps on going with his life and forgets about being angry with his brother. Five years later he remembers those angry thoughts toward his brother and repents of them. What would happen to him if he died in those five years inbetween?

(3) If a Christian uses a swear word (that is taking God's name in vain), but when he used the word he did not even realize it was a word that took God's name in vain. A year later he hears a sermon and he realizes the word he used was a sin! Then he repents and confesses it. What would have happened to him if he died in those five years inbetween?

(4) What if the Holy Spirit tells a person to witness to a neighbor, but the Christian does not listen to the Spirit. A week later he repents and goes and witnesses to the neighbor. What would have happened to him if he died that week inbetween?

Did Christ die for Hitlar? Yes Did Christ call him holy, without blame, a priest, and a king? No
Did Christ do for me? yes Does Christ call me holy, without blame, a priest, and a king? Absolutely!

Not all whom Christ died for are called kings and priests and holy and without blame.

Now, unless you are a Calvinist, then you will disagree with me that Christ died for all - and if so, this is not the thread to debate that.

Awesome post, Chester. The best post I've seen recently on here. I wish there was more thought provoking stuff like this instead of division and fights. Nothing to add besides, "many are called but few are chosen". Those who were not among the chosen, were still wanted at the wedding feast and invited.

I don't know all the unswer but what I know is we have to believe the bible

Murder No repent go to hell.
Repent, forgiven.

That is the only knowledge I have from the bible.

If you don't know that murder is sin, and killing is that make you not sin because you don't know?

Chester you do understand that word "repent" .... "metanoia" ...... means to change one's mind away from and towards another?

We repent once for salvation.

The Greek word metnaoieo (repent) means literally to "think differently" - Yes, at initial salvation we changed our way of thinking (repented), but at least for me, as a Christian I am keeping on changing my way of thinking (repenting) as I grow in my Christian walk.
