I thought the video was concise and was given at the SW Baptist convention. It had clips from Hinn, Joel Osten, etc. with some Biblical rebuttals and all in it. It calls for people to learn discernment and stop letting the wolves pray on the sick and weak sheep.

He says he didn't realize that the movement was any thing nearly as harmful or heretical until closer examination. It has a candy coating most people swallow before noticing the poison underneath.

4runner?

Can God drag you to the cross and give you faith and conform you to His moral standards via the Holy Spirit WITHOUT your permission?

Is He capable or does He need your partnership?

There are similar videos on YouTube. The one below is under 7 minutes to give an overview.

If you follow that link to YouTube there are many similar but more in-depth videos on the
same subject, by the same, and other persons.

False Preachers abound. We detect them best when we have the true gospel deep in our
hearts and minds. Once detected it is good to warn, but we need not and should not dwell,
but to overcome such evil.

I can't watch that whole mess. He didn't have faith and now he has turned to antichrist. What does the bible say about Jesus? He went around healing. He didn't heal where there was no faith.

So to serve God the way this man says, all Christian should be crippled and sick like him. Should be poor. Looked like a pretty nice suit he had on. Wonder how much he got paid to be there speaking against my God.

Benny Hinn is not Ok but the others are good Christians. I hope this man repents. He's bitter and jealous of healthy people for God sake.

I have my suspicions of Joel Osten, count how many times the name of Jesus is mentioned in any one of his sermons, yes he refers to God all the time, there are many "gods" perhaps it would be prudent if he would mention God's name so we know exactly who he is talking about.

A preacher on TBN announced that he was going to name names of prominent Preachers that follow some sort of method to attract people, some of the methods is to remove all stained glass and all things that resemble a "church", do not have any crosses displayed, do have an upbeat and loud band......this preacher was taken off TBN before his next program....I wonder about TBN itself.....they charge enormous amounts of money for programs to be viewed...why charge so much when it is supposed to be spreading the Gospel to all the world??

If your Jesus . . .

. . . is a Hawaiian shirt-wearing, big-teeth smiling, latte-drinking-while-preaching, motivational speaker peddling the message that God’s greatest hope for mankind is that they reach their full potential by finding their purpose in this life and living that best life now . . .

. . . then you worship Mega-Church Jesus

I believe prosperity doctrines are false, IF:

1. they don't include the soul - 3 John 1:2 "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."

2. they include the love of money - 1 Timothy 6:10 "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

3. they believe richer is better - Matthew 19:24 "And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."

are you implying that his lack of faith is the reason he is crippled and sick and he speaks out and warns people because he is "bitter and jealous of healthy people"? do you think people who are crippled or sick "deserve" it?

John 9
1 Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. 2 And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
3 Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.

hopefully I'm misreading your words.

Jesus Christ says:
"For false christs and false prophets shall be raised up, and shall produce signs and wonders, with a view to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. Be taking heed; behold, I have told you all things beforehand." -- St. Mark 13:22-23 ONT (Orthodox New Testament), Volume 1; page 172.

Well I just went to a live stream of Joel. Started off with God bless you and in the first minute of talking said Jesus. Didn't watch it all. I didn't watch it all.
