But, God is not th One limiting the atonement... people are.

Those that reject what Jesus has done for them have limited themselves to going to hell seeing there are only two options... accept Jesus or not.
And since everyone is dead in their sins and trespasses according to the bible, all they'll ever choose is their sin and not Christ.

therefore His atonement is limited to those who do :)
Eternal life is limited to those who do accept Jesus, but his atonement was done for the whole world...not just humanity but all of creation awaits the birth of the New Heaven and New Earth.

If that were true, then nobody would get saved...

I was dead in my sins... and I decided to admit it and quit is by accepting Jesus as my Lord.

The Word is clear that satan is the one blinding the minds of those that do not believe... not people.

The Word is also clear that it's God's will that ALL be saved and that Jesus tasted of death for EVERY person.

God is not witholding what Jesus paid for everyone to have and God did say man is without excuse.

Jesus died for God's elect, His bride the church, a lot of people have died without accepting Christ, and you want me to believe the atonement was for those people too, no it wasn't, it was limited to those who would believe in Him, aka the elect.

Then you do not believe the Word of God...

2 Corinthians 4:3,4
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

1 Timothy 2:3,4
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Hebrews 2:9
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

We can clearly see from scripture that it's NOT God's will than anybody be lost and that the Lord's plan of salvation is intended for all.

You are making your argument based on what happens... not from God's Will which is what His Word is, His Will... (that's what God wants for those in Rio Linda)

No Hs atonement was OFFERED to 'the whole world'. It was effectually limited to those who received it.

And... WHY is it that those who claim God only intended to save a few... are never one of the ones God has chosen to not save???

I've never heard any of calvin's people say "God only saves a few and sadly, I'm one of the ones He decided to not save so... I'm on my way to hell ya'll" :(

That's not God's fault as it is clearly His will that ALL be saved.

God never set up "limited antonement"... people are the ones who decide to reject the Lord.

Did Jesus talk about few being saved? If so, what's the problem? Is your saying "few" meant to ridicule, defame, and derogate a certain "group?" ;)

are never one of the ones God has chosen to not save???
Probably because maybe the lost simply don't care or discuss these things? :)

I've never heard any of calvin's people say "God only saves a few and sadly, I'm one of the ones He decided to not save so... I'm on my way to hell ya'll" :(
Why would a saved person testify they are going to hell? Do you get together with God's people for a time of testimonies and celebrate a persons pending damnation? :)

Hmmmm.

2 Corinthians 4:3,4
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
so if it was hidden to them, it was not offered to them.

1 Timothy 2:3,4
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
In context all TYPES of men. See previous verses

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
No one has denied that that was God's wish.

Hebrews 2:9
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
He tasted death for all. But it was only effective in those who believe.

We can clearly see from scripture that it's NOT God's will than anybody be lost and that the Lord's plan of salvation is intended for all.
It was not God's will that men be lost. But his plan of salvation was only effective for those who truly believed I e 'the elect'

You are making your argument based on what happens... not from God's Will which is what His Word is, His Will... (that's what God wants for those in Rio Linda)
What HAPPENS is God's will. Anything else can only be His wish, not His will. Or do you believe God's will is thwarted?

Why would a saved person testify they are going to hell?
Now, if it was a person that "God decided to not save" (as the false calvin's people put it)... then they would not be saved now would they???

Think about it... you have people who claim (not based on scripture) that it's God's will that only a few be saved and yet it never applies to any of them.

Why is that???

God did not have anything to do with that... people decide to reject Jesus, so they are limiting themselves to spending eternity in hell.

Those who do not believe are not atoned for.
Sure they were! God provided a way for them to be saved... they allowed the devil to blind their understanding causing them to reject Jesus. They did this, not God.

You obviously do not believe what God says in His Word...

Well actually it probably does. They just think it doesn't. Not all who claim to be elect ARE elect.

God in fact does not 'decide not to save' some. He leaves them in their sin.

So, you may be on your way to hell???

How do you know if God has decided to not save you or not?

Does he like send you and email or a FedEx package informing you of His decision?

Thus the atonements IS limited to those who believe whoever is responsible..

Sure they were! God provided a way for them to be saved... they allowed the devil to blind their understanding causing them to reject Jesus. They did this, not God.
thus in actual fact they were excluded from the atonement.

It is simple, I have truly believed in Jesus Christ. That shows I am one of the elect. He said so,:)

You just claimed in a couples of posts back...

Not all who claim to be elect ARE elect.
So, it sounds like you really don't know if the Lord accepted your application to be saved or not based on this ridiculous, un-biblical thingy calvin came out with
