Each time I'm responded to by a derogatory comment , which i don't retaliate to ,other than go to the Scriptures . What gives ? Then its threats ? Or i get shut down ?

The part in brackets . My point was that if you let the verses stand ,its saying as it reads. That who he knew before.

Ok but my point is that to become a son is done as it says in John 1.12 . Not adoption . There are no verses that say we join God's family like this . We are 'birthed ' not adopted . The redemption of our bodies IS the adoption. Im waiting for it as the verses say . Im predestined to it as it says in eph 1.5 . Its the whole point of predestination . What use is labouring on predestination to conversion? it does nothing.

KJV .
15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Spirit OF adoption .
If I recieve the ' Guarantee ' of something its not the thing .
I realise what some theologians say on this and why they 'adopt ' this view . And why some translations read in a certain light .
