You posted no verses proving your order of things, so I can only repeat that, the non-spiritual man cannot accept the things of the Spirit.
Thats why we must be made "spiritual" so that we can accept the things of the Spirit.

I will look for the,verses...someone handed me a pamplets ages ago with,them,on it.
If you ask "are they already all believers" - apparently not, some will come to faith in the future.
If you ask "can they be spiritual and die in their unbelief" - no, because "Spirit gives life".
Also, if you are trying to figure out if everybody is spiritual, notice that Paul makes a distinction between the spiritual and the carnal ones. So not everybody is spiritual.

I always believed that all men had spirits/souls but only those who have the Holy Spirit understand the things of God.
That the Holy Spirit can work externally in a person's life before the indwelling within the heart.
All living beings have souls/spirit:
James 2:22
For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead
Only those with the Holy spirit understand God but all men have spirits that can be used to search our hearts.
1 Corinthians 2:11
For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God.

Does this verse apply to all men? I believe it does and God searches the heart of all men and sees our sins and can chose to change our hearts and minds through His spirit.

OK, in that case by "spiritual" I mean "born again of the Spirit". Not "spiritual" in the sense of inner man or in the sense of being alive.

i believe those buddhist people etc will eventually find the truth because

hi Ariel82 yes im a christian universalist and i believe everyone and everything will be reconciled through Christ eventually.. universalism might be looked at as weird today but in the early church many were universalists infact like origen he is quite famous. i also wanna say that it doesnt mean i dont believe in God's judgment, i just believe its a 'corrective' punishment if you will like the word kolasis actually means pruning a tree or correct i dont wanna hijack this thread but if you are interested tentmaker is a good website to learn of it...
i do believe the I and P in TULIP maybe T but im not sure what they mean by total depravity, i think its evident people are looking for something spiritual thats why you have so many religions and systems up so there is something in man that wants truth. but maybe they mean people cant find the truth unless God draws them in which case i agree!!!
my personal question to calvinists is do you think God actively intervenes in society today or is it only in bringing people to faith???? do you believe in miracles or healing?
