Woop de freakin' do if some animals engage in homosexual behaviour. It doesn't mean it's natural. We live in a fugged up world, a fallen world. That's the result. People doing all kinds of unnatural things. Animals doing all kinds of unnatural things. Sin is unnatural, as is death. We're just used to living in world that's fallen from grace.

If you want to think so, ok.
It will never become clear who is who and what and why anyone believes what they do until stood before Christ.
I should not have to go into "every knee shall bow", so why are we concentrating on the sin that is so blatantly obvious, as you have pointed out.
Do not the wheat and tears have to grow together? Have we or you been given the specific task from God of pointing out who they are so they can be removed or ignored or shown up for the evil they persist in? Did not the sower, when it was pointed out that the enemy had planted weeds within the good crop tell the workers within the field that all should grow together, . . .'until'.
The only remit we have from God is to show the Love of Jesus to those around us, whether in the church or not. Why are the differences being highlighted if not to cause conflict?
I started my answer to your thread with this same statement "This subject is confrontational", the object of confrontation is; to gain the upper hand, prove your power over others, show someone has missed the plot, the list goes on and on.
The Holy Spirit is saying, 'Wash their feet', 'go with them and carry that heavy load at least one more mile', 'forgive them and show by your own life that there is something better, more refined, than the mere physical attraction of the human body'.
This is my stance to your thread, I do not agree with it because it is confrontational. I love you and I don't want us to miss out on the beautiful things the Lord has for you or me or anyone else by focusing on what is not right and good and Holy and peaceful, the things of the Spirit of God, not the conflict of our carnal nature.
Jesus is big enough to look after His church, He doesn't need me or you to fight His battles for Him, He already did that and won the war. We have to look after the skirmishes within our own lives and "run the race set before us", and besides me even looking at someone else to view their sin gives me a headache and this plank of wood keeps getting in the way.

I know right? I've always found this to be the weakest argument. "because animals do it then it's natural and OK for us to"? Some animals also eat their young, force copulation on the female, and even eat their mates head after the "deed" is done. Can I use those natural examples to justify myself doing the same thing? Goodness gracious, "animals do it". Crazy.

Did the provocateur of such a stance ever consider God set us apart from the animals?
Really, it is there, in the bible. We were made in His image, not of an animal.
If someone who is not Christian says that regarding the animals, well, since our perspectives are so far apart, I don't even see the sense of debating the point.
Then why stop there, why not just copy everything animals do ?
Talk about being deceived.

That's how it went with me. Raised in an atheistic home with a daily diet of Darwin in both home and school...ended up with a Bob Dylan philosophy..."Dogs run free, why don't we?" ♫ ♫ ♪

Last I checked I'm not homosexual nor is my spouse a man.

Back to the word of God that is applicable though, Leviticus tells us to execute homosexuals... not to marry them.

Have a look at the book of Galatians. I think you fall under the condemnation from Paul here. You are fallen from grace.

Galatians 1
6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7 not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.

Galatians 2

I can love my murderous/fornicating/adulterous/homosexual/etc neighbor as they are frying in the electric chair. It's not about love, it's about justice.

"For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction." The reaction given from biblical teachings is allow the government to execute them. We are not to do it on an individual level, because God ordained government to execute His wrath.

i think you guys may be missing the point with the animals. he is saying our Lord made animals and our Lord has a natural order of things and therefore the Lord created homosexuality within this natural order.
i dont agree with it. there is a difference between homosexual and homosexual acts. the the homosexual acts they are referring to are animals going crazy when their hormones get all out of wack when a female is in heat. this is what separates us from animals. when i see a hot lady wearing something skimpy i dont run over and rape her because our Lord created us different than animals, we have control over our hormones.

We are living under grace ,not in OT times. If not we'd all be under the gun. I believe homosexuality is a sin but not worthy of capital punishment. Again,we are living under grace.
