You have nothing better to do.
and what's His divine revelation?
what specifically made you start this thread?

or do you have something better to do than to communicate that to others?

Wrong! Paul said " Faith without works is DEAD" That does not mean you earn salvation bywords , But your works show your faith.
Romans 4:1-2
King James Version(KJV)

1.)What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?

2.)For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.

Matt. 5 : 48 Jesus to his desciples of which I count myself
this same word that means "perfect" also means "mature" or "fully realized" or "finished" in Greek.

how to be perfect/mature ? it is not a simple matter of being completely sinless -- which as John informs us, we are a liar if we think we have attained.
but here's one thing -

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
(James 1:2-4)

:)

note that James says perfection here is an effect of something done to us, and that this is a thing accomplished over time.
our "perfection" and "maturity" is not our own work -- but the work of the One who began a work in us and Who is faithful to complete it.
Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith

this is divine revelation - that Christ is our Beginner and our Finisher, that He has made us perfect, is making us perfect, and will make us perfect.
do we believe it?

be sure and grab some of this while you are in the lunch-line, family!

We do what ever Christ commands us to do, and, this includes taking great care to not knowingly deny any of Christ's revealed truth.

it doesn't matter.

what's your definition?

what are you, specifically talking about when you say we cannot deny His revelation?

reveal it, already. what was said in secret, proclaim from the mountaintop.

why are you burying your drachma in the sand? when the Master returns, He will rebuke you, and take it away, to give it to someone who has more than you.

so do what He commanded you to do:

What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight;
what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs.

(Matthew 10:27)

what is this divine revelation you say we must not deny?
or is it ultra-top-secret gnosis?

Let's not argue over semantics . You said it , it is God ,through the spirit, that makes me perfect. and by his grace I am perfect. only after that confession , repentance and forgiveness will I be perfect but by God's help I will make it.

I am not specifically singling out any of Christ's divine revelation to man since we have to believe Christ's divine revelation to man in its totality.

I told you that we must not deny any of Christ's divine revelation.
but you haven't told anyone what "Christ's divine revelation" is.

so why are you denying Matthew 10:27 ?

What do you believe the definition of "Divine Revelation" is, and, do you have to believe the totality of Christ's divine revelation to man in order to get to heaven>

I believe the totality of Christ's divine revelation to man; you are almost admitting you refuse to believe the totality of Christ's divine revelation to man.
