Animals don't have souls so no,they do not go to heaven. But there will be animals in heaven which God has created.
Animals better be in Heaven because I want to play with your dog whom I feel I've gotten to know by seeing her every day on CC for the last two years. :)

My expectation is that animals will be on the new earth but heaven is likely not for animals. I think animals would be happier on the earth.

We do not have a soul, we are a living soul. Man became a living soul when God breathed the breath of life into his physical being (Genesis 2:7). The word soul in Hebrew is nephesh, meaning “an animated, breathing, conscious, and living being.” That describes animals as well as humans. The same breath (of God) that animates humans, animates animals.

God created everything for His glory, and that includes animals. Do animals make moral decisions? Why would they be in need of salvation? They fell along with the rest of all creation as a result of the sin/disobedience of Adam.

Jesus also returns from heaven on a horse.
“Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war” (Revelation 19:11) Hmmm. The following passages are also referring to the new earth, are they not? Most people say heaven when they are more than likely speaking of the new earth.

  • Isaiah 11:6 "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them."
  • Isaiah 11:7-9 "The cow and the bear shall graze; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. The nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole, and the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea"
  • Isaiah 65:25 "The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD."

IMO no, God created man in His likeness not animals in His likeness and God isn't going to give humans domain over souled animals... Humans are not in control over souls rather it be a human or a animal... Will there be remembering of the animals we loved could be...

If we think about it, animals are already there. Without God supporting the lives of all animals and plant life, they are dead....

That thinking may require a bit of meditation, but I know it is true.

If a person who goes to heaven had pets they loved while they lived on earth im sure God will allow them to be with you for eternity. I'm sure God is well aware there are many animal lovers around the world.

I do not believe you will be able to speak falsely in His presence :D

And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”

Even the trees applaud Jesus Christ :D

“You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will
burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.”

I believe animals can go to heaven, although I have found most Christians disagree. I actually heard on TV that it was a basic Christian belief that animals don't have a soul and can't enter into heaven. Just wanted to hear your thoughts.
That mosquito I just swatted, did it go to heaven?

So we're allowed to eat the meat of these animals who have souls and can go to heaven?
