because im wondering, like everyone else on here, the basis of your faith.
And you're not exactly being too open about it either.
You seem rather vague.
Some people were indoctrinator to believe what they believe. Vicky is one of them and no amount of teaching or discussion will change her mind.

The ability to choose certain things is not the thing same as having free will.
We have free will. Many times with limited options but we have the free will to decide.
Free will doesn't come with an entitlement to like the available choices.

Then ask direct questions.

Asking how old I was the last time I went to a church service is making me uncomfortable.

See my post above. Did I choose to find UCA4J's comments disquieting?

Certainly. Whilst there are many things we may choose, the overwhelmingly majority of our actions and functions are involuntary.
Well, the human body is designed with voluntary and involuntary actions but, this does not mean we do not have free will.

Circumstances happen to all of us and we cannot control or choose good or bad things that happen to us but, we do get to choose how we will respond to them.

We do have free will.

You concede that the human body is designed with involuntary 'actions' (do you mean functions?). The responses of the body (variously manifesting as stress, anger, lust etc.) are determined by hormones. If your cortisol is high, for example, you will feel anxious. Are you arguing you have control of your own hormonal system?

You may not choose the way you feel but you do choose how you respond or act on those feelings.

For the record I don't place too much emphasis on church attendance.
A person can meet The Lord without ever setting foot inside a Church.

Do we not choose the way we deal with and react to it?

Are you trying to express that the world is made by God, no matter how you choose, it's not free will, cuz Everything is designed by God.

Free will is not omnipotence. It doesn't give you control over all circumstances, matter, energy & time.

What you are describing is the flesh. We are instructed to fight against the flesh. However, we can choose to walk in the flesh, or we can choose to pray and turn it over to the Lord.

Really it is as simple as that...It is our choice how we deal with it.
