Nehemiah 9:6 plus John 1:3
:)
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭90:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.”
‭‭John‬ ‭17:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

god created man corrupted god looked down and saw there was no man , so he became the man to intercede shed his blood and returned now having a high priest and intercessor

our god stepped into this world in the form of one of us in order to save all of us who believe then returned to his glory after creating the perfect high priest and intercessor for mankind
the lord Jesus

1 Timothy 3:16
Thank you! I often use the BSB (Berean Study [or Standard] Bible).

1 Timothy 3:16 ~ Berean Standard Bible
By common confession, the mystery of godliness is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit,
was seen by angels, was proclaimed among the nations, was believed in throughout the world, was taken up in glory.

Why do we christians say Jesus is God himself?
Jesus is God along with the Father and the Holy Spirit as the ONE God in three Persons, an amazing Mystery who is beyond human thought.

Jesus is God along with the Father and the Holy Spirit as the ONE God in three Persons, an amazing Mystery who is beyond human thought.
“I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭45:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears. Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.

Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.

Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?

I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43:8-13, 15, 18-19‬

“Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭52:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:23-25‬ ‭

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:1, 10-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Why do we christians say Jesus is God himself?

The problem is that the full titles aren't being used.

God is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each can also be called God on their own.

So there is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is God, but Jesus is not God the Father because Jesus is God the Son.

I believe Jesus is God for many reasons…

One being the following.
It is God as Jesus Christ that judges the souls. Jesus Himself told us that He would do the judging, not the Father (God in Heaven):

John 5:22
22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: KJV
But God said that He would do the Judging. This can only be so if Jesus is God. And Jesus is God as Thomas so astutely observed "And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God." (John 20:28).
1 Sam 2:10
10 The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth ; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed. KJV

22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: KJV

Wouldn't that have been contextual to that time on Earth not about a later time like at the great white throne judgment?

1 Peter 1:17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

Here Peter also addresses that time when the Father judges "according to every man's work"...that's the great white throne judgement day, the last day. See how it is exactly what we find on judgment day:

Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Heb 12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
Heb 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Here Jesus is distinct from the other one called "God the Judge of all". Often writers will refer to God meaning the Father and mention Jesus separately to make clear the use of "God" meant "God the Father" not "God the son".

“Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭52:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:6-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”
‭‭John‬ ‭20:28-29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭48:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. THE END”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭22:12-13, 16, 20-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:24-25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not.”

is Jesus the Anointing described in scripture as a separated PERSON whom is Co - Eternal - or is he a manifestation of God expressed in the last of days - - end times ? ?

Heb 1: 1 - 3 explains

:1 Many ways, also various ways, long ago the God spoke to their fathers

:2 IN THEIR PROPHETS UNTO THESE LAST OF DAYS, OF THESE, HE SPOKE TO THEM IN HIS SON UPON WHOM IS GIVEN HEIR, OF WHOM ALSO THIS IS FOREVER DONE

:3 WHO BEING THE EMANATION / RADIATING OF HIS GLORY, AND THE CHARACTER / CHARACTERISTIC OF HIS CONFIDENCE

Many people believe that Jesus and God are NOT the same,

many are unsure and just a little confused - specifically about the Trinitarian teaching. some may believe Jesus to be a part of God or a servant of God but not literally God himself. HOWEVER - The scriptures do declare Jesus the anointing to be the very SAME God himself, manifest in the flesh - " THE ONE GOD "

Php 2 : 6 - - explains concerning JESUS

:6 WHO IN alteration / modification MORPH GOD EXISTED NOT TAKING AUTHORITY TO BE EQUALLY GOD.

:7 BUT HIMSELF, EMPTY / VOID MORPH OF A SERVANT,

RECEIVING IN THE LIKENESS OF MANKIND, HE BECAME.

The Invisible Spirit of God created himself as visible - as MORPHED, CHANGED, LOWERED, EMPTY LESSER ADJUSTED PHYSICAL BEING MORPHING HIMSELF into the form of a man and - formed himself as a man and that the Spirit, Holy of God dwelled inside the man - this man is Jesus, The Anointing.

this man was created as God himself and made in the likeness of sinful flesh, the existence and deity and very SPIRIT OF JESUS is the same Eternal Spirit that is God himself - and that the Eternal Spirit in Jesus is God himself

the God - Eternal Spirit, Holy in the form of The Anointing whom is Jesus

the Anointing of God's spirit.

In alteration / modification, MORPH - Jesus was GOD himself.

1Pe 1:10 speaks - CONCERNING - GOD AS THE ETERNAL SPIRIT GIVING ANOINTING " INSIDE THE OLD TESTAMENT PROPHETS

:10 The prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:

:11 Searching what, or what manner of time- THE SPIRIT OF THE ANOINTING / CHRISTWHICH WAS IN THEM - did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of THE ANOINTING / CHRIST :

We see clearly that the very same Spirit of Jesus himself, was the very same Spirit that had been previously upon the earth - as “ THE SPIRIT OF THE ANOINTING “ - – in / inside the prophets in the Old testament..

Jesus ------- he is the ANOINTING of the Spirit, Holy -- BEING THE LITERAL ANOINTING OF GOD - the installation, placement, application, positioning, stationing, appointment, applying of the Spirit, Holy Of The God in our lives.

To apply. to be the application

His Spirit is the Holy Spirit ------ in the manifestation, form of what is being applied, ANOINTED - placed, applied, positioned, stationed, appointed, working, rubbing, moving anointing - the idea of contact; to smear or rub with oil, to handle); to furnish what is needed; , to apply and to use.

This is the role of Jesus the Anointing / Christ - that Gods Holy Spirit has applied HIS SACRIFICE for our salvation and also for communication to Him, the eternal spirit,

Jesus is the eternal God because his very spirit was the Spirit, Holy -

the " Holy Spirit " gives glory to Jesus the Anointing / Christ - in that the Holy Spirit sanctified the blood of the Anointing - but never attempts to claim that the Holy Spirit is a separate person of a Triune Godhead

in fact the Holy Spirit expressly declares that there is only one single spirit
This is the message throughout the scriptures. Please notice the scriptures below.

1Co 12:6 And there are DIVERSITIES OF OPERATIONS, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

:7 But the manifestation of THE SPIRIT is given to every man to profit withal.

:8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge BY THE SAME SPIRIT;

:9 To another faith by the SAME SPIRIT; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

:11 But all these worketh that one and the SELFSAME SPIRIT, dividing to every man severally as he will.

:13 For by ONE SPIRIT are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into ONE SPIRIT.

Eph 2:18 For by him we have access both in ONE Spirit to the Father. - singular spirit

Joh 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

Joh 14:18 I - Jesus, - I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Mat 10:20 For it is not you that speak, but THE SPIRIT OF YOUR FATHER that speaketh in you.

Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Spirit of the Holy , whom the Father will send in my name, - I will come to you. )

Rom 8:15 but you have received the spirit of adoption of sons, whereby we cry: Abba (Father).

Ga 4:6 And because you are sons, God hath sent the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying: Abba, Father.

( I,, Jesus will come to you. )

Eph 2:18 For by him we have access both in ONE Spirit to the Father. -

The scriptures describe a God who is ONE SPIRIT - SINGULAR

it is the spirit of the Father
and Spirit of the Son
they both are one - SELF SAME SPIRIT,

( I will come to you. )

the Comforter, which is Holy - this is an effect manifestation - operation of The SELF- SAME Spirit OF THE HOLY ,

The scriptures are not separating God as multiple persons in a Tri - unity Godhead system which claims the Father, Son and Spirit are Co - eternal, Co - equal, Co - omnipresent

. . . but they are the "" SAME EXACT SPRIT " / SAME GOD - the ONE Invisible Spirit of God manifesting himself in the morph / form of a man, Invisible Spirit God creates himself, conceives himself as a lower, lesser emptied and weakened form as a man becoming a very part of his creation that is visible, the flesh, body of this man created in the likeness of sinful flesh is not Co - eternal _ Co - equal _ Co - omnipresent but his Spirit is eternal, and equally God himself as the Anointing Spirit in a man,

Jesus is an alteration / modification MORPH of God who lowered himself, changed his FORM and manifested himself in the likeness of sinful flesh / man / human

it is as simple as this, The Trinity doctrine is an alteration, manipulation, perversion and departure from the simplicity of this manuscript message.

1Pe 1:20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

to truly answer the question is to say that God predestined planned and God himself designed of his own will and purpose to manifest himself as Jesus, by an operation as a miracle creation,, altering / modifying MORPHING his spirit , becoming a man filled with the Spirit of God -

this is how Jesus is God in the man - manifested as man - his spirit is the Spirit Of The Holy, The Anointing / Christ Yahashua

: Many ways, also various ways, long ago the God spoke to their fathers

: IN THEIR PROPHETS UNTO THESE LAST OF DAYS, OF THESE, HE SPOKE TO THEM IN HIS SON UPON WHOM IS GIVEN HEIR, OF WHOM ALSO THIS IS FOREVER DONE

i asked this question because in the bible it says only God knows when he will send Jesus back to earth for the rapture even Jesus doesn't know the time. So if Jesus is God why doesn't he know the time of the rapture?
He did not know because He came as a Servant.
He Served to Die for us.
and we read, as a Servant, He "emptied Himself" of being the full complete entity of God.
when He emptied Himself, He removed His prior Knowledge in specifics like when the The Second Coming happens.

Philippians Chapter 2:
5. “Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though He was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.
