That guy doesn't have a clue about the subject. He's completely confused, trying to twist what God clearly said to say something completely different. He's trying to make it sound like God just had a knee jerk temper tantrum
who created all life Charly

It is possible that I may have misunderstood, what CS1 believes. I tried to work it out but it's unclear to me because all got got was that they just believe what the Lord Jesus Christ teaches. That confused me because I also believe that but we have different interpretations of the same gospel.

I pointed out the fact that there are countless different interpretations, but everyone claims to poses the one true interpretation.
The issue is the arminian vs calvin debate

All calvinists seem to want to attack all others as arminian and vice versa.

You lose your ability to discuss the word because you are unable to hear another person when you do this.. Sadly it happens so many times in here.

Yes I am a Catholic, but please don't confuse that with Roman Catholicism. Catholic translates to universal, o I do belon to the universal Church of Christ. But it's Head is not the Pope of Rome, it's the Lord Jesus Christ, I consider the Pope to be Antichrist
I was just wondering because you used alot of their arguments.

I am a child of God. I belong to the church of Columbus Ohio. of which there are many churches

You sound very sure of yourself, I hope your faith in yourself will endure the race set before you. I don't lean on my understanding, so I can't be 110% sure of myself in anything, that's why I have placed my trust in the Lord
How does she trust in herself?

Well you keep proving how little you know about Gods Word, but it's obvious you have created your own false doctrine to suit your unbiblical world view. I'm tired of giving your verses which expose your false doctrine and watch you try and twist them by referring to unrelated verses.

It shows you don't justify your false narrative by dealing with the given scripture but you ignore it and cite other unrelated scriptures. Can you see how this look from my perspective, I think you must be in your late teens

Roman 9:11-13

11 (for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who calls), 12 it was said to her, “The older shall serve the younger.” 13 As it is written, “Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.”

Please explain why you falsely claimed that the bible doesn't say that God hates unborn babies.
This is called taking a passage completely out of context, and using your mistranslation of what was said to defend your own theology.

This is God electing the younger child to be the "Father" of the nation God promised abraham

It had absolutely nothing to do with any of the two kids salvation.

the fatalistic view of romans 9 - 11 is horrific

Satan comes as an angel of light. Just saying.

Stop listening to voices
I'm thinking Calvinists are like hardened Jews.

I'm being honest.

This is my assessment

There code is to be depraving to people who are not calvinist by quoting scripture with the depraving part only, but leave the un-derpaving part out from other scripture

I'm sure this is the calvinist code.

As I've been subject to it a thousand times at least

its not just calvinists that do this. Many "ists" do this. They are going off what they were taught. And sadly have not leanred to think on their own.

I call it being pre-programed

Then the other code is don't answer to an un-derpaving scripture.

But answer to a depraving scripture

You sound very sure of yourself,
I am assured of what the Word says, the character of God, and that He will keep His promises. God will not go outside of His Word. He is not like a capricious Greek god of myth that does whatever He pleases. He is bound to his Word. That is what I am assured.

I hope your faith in yourself will endure the race set before you.
You're new in the faith. Maybe several years down the road we could have a different conversation. You do not know what I have endured in my life, you know nothing about what I believe, you jump to conclusions and judgement if someone has a different view than your dogma. You have no grace or empathy for the lost. I think you need to begin looking inward and let God correct everyone else. And I'm trying to be gentle in what I am saying.

I don't lean on my understanding, so I can't be 110% sure of myself in anything,
I have good news for you !! You can KNOW you are saved! You can be 110% sure!

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

Matthew says " But the one who endures to the end will be saved."

And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.

Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

“If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus!!!!

For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

That is a small handful of verses that say we CAN know , we can be assured of our salvation. The old saints would say " you can know that you know" you are saved. And then you share that assurance with someone who is lost. The Holy Spirit does his work, drawing people to Christ. That person hears the Good News, the seed is planted and that is how a person becomes born again!

My friend you seem to be lacking love, joy, forgiveness and empathy. You have fallen into a false doctrine and you need to be set free. I hope as you go deeper into the Word that you will come out of the fog and understand how deep the Fathers mercy, love and grave actually is. I wish you the best. But grow in the Lord.
