There's a Rabbi, Jonathan Cahn , who writes prophetic books that are always best sellers. He says Bible prophecy seems to indicate Trump is following God's pattern as pertains to Jehu in the OT and 2 Kings 9. And that it was God's prophecy and will that Trump won the election.
The first time Trump entered politics and ran for any office and he wins the highest in the land and beats a woman who was running yet again, and was so sure she would win that her campaign spent hundreds of thousands of dollars for a fireworks display over Manhattan to commemorate the exit polls.

I'm no fan of Jim Baker. But this is a short intro to Cahn's prophecy teaching concerning Trump and the Jehu comparison. When God has Trump's back is it any wonder the evil that is Hillary and her kind hate him? He use to be one of them, a Liberal. Now he's not. But he knows how they work. And he's not intimidated by the stress of D.C politics because he survived New York politics as a builder! Not easy to do. Believe it or not, the prophecy thing is still fascinating.

I'm familiar with Cahn but to be honest, I am not really a fan

I see God's handiwork in the events of 2016 however

Trump has not accepted Christ as far as I know...although I do think he believes in God. Christians need to pray for him

history is being made every day, but we are living in historical times...I think I can say you understand what I mean...you have a light bulb on upstairs :giggle:

If not for the laborers from Mexico and Central America, you and I would be paying a lot more for our fruits and vegetables. Few Americans want that kind of work.

If you don't mind sharing, what is your issue with Cahn's teachings? I found him only recently on YT after someone told me about the Jehu prophecy he'd shared on Joni and Friends Table Talk show. (A Christian cable network show)

I would disagree Trump hasn't accepted Christ. He's a Presbyterian and has said he is now a member of Reformed Church of America.
None of us are perfect and he is no exception. Nor is he an exception as pertains to his past sins being forgiven him. As mine are and yours and all in Christ.

I do think he is God's blessing to turn this country from the downward slope it was driving down with 8 years of Obama/Hillary and then the promise of a faster trajectory with Hillary making a second try for highest office.
A seasoned politician and attorney was soundly beaten in the electoral vote process by a first timer running not for a lesser office to try it on and see how politics fit his profile. But for the highest office of power on earth. And won!
And, running for that office he had with him a history of knowing how the Democrat party runs, and the circle the top 1% run in, because he was that for years prior to turning Republican.
When you know how the enemy thinks, and I truly believe the Democratic party is of the enemy, it is easier to pre-plan the battle to defeat them.
And Trump has. And, he's a negotiator par excellence. He runs the country like he would a corporation. Negotiation being key. We've suffered under the typical politician for decades. Might as well try someone who knows his business about running a business.

I don't mind explaining

I've known about him for some years now actually. I'm just very hesitant of people picking out scripture that may or may not be attributable to current events. I really dislike the way so many (I don't mean you here...I am speaking generally) jump on the 'latest'
(again he is not really the latest but he was at one time and made the rounds of Christian churches, stations etc) supposed revelation

I just view such things with some very big grains of salt. that, is the briefest explanation, for the sake of not boring anyone, I can come up with

Trump...well I don't know...but I do pray for him. the attacks against him are unprecedented and the dems are the devil's mouthpiece IMO so we certainly have no diff of opinion there

as far as sins go, I'm not even referring to any when I say I am not certain he is actually saved. that is not a consideration for me regarding Trump

I just find myself keeping alot of what I think regarding currents events to myself. like in a watch and see holding pattern

this is not the world I grew up in

That's plumb sauce! Plain and simple. But it works for the Liberal rhetoric once every two or four years when the nanny state mentality seeks to take control of the world.

Employing criminal aliens to harvest or fields is what ends up as a headline about recalls of Cilantro, our spinach crops, our Romaine lettuces, etc... due to feces contamination! Or, e-coli outbreak. That's what the media doesn't report behind the latest e-coli recall.
I know someone who owned a field and who's Romaine lettuces were recalled not that many years ago due to e-coli. When the reports about Cilantro and spinach crop recalls hit the news he joked, but not in a good way, that there were two new "brands" of illegal's toilet paper on the market now.
They poop in the fields where they work. The FDA officials that came to his farm told him that American's should be getting use to it, the poop recalls. Because defecating where they work is part of immigrant culture.
I thought it was sick when a black football player for the Eagles years ago tried to excuse Michael Vick's being found guilty of animal abuse due to having dog fights on his mansion property. "It's part of black culture!" He said. Riiiight. Had he been a white Eagle player he'd have been out of a job. As it was he looked like a moron. Who should have been investigated in his own right for animal abuse and possible sponsoring of dog fights. Part of black culture. Evil is part of black culture? Pooping near peoples food is part of immigrant cultures culture? No, filthy people do that! No one else does that but filthy people.

Don't be surprised when the headlines report an outbreak in favorite restaurants either. This happens when that ridiculous sign that shouldn't need to be posted in the bathrooms reads, "EMPLOYEES MUST WASH HANDS BEFORE RETURNING TO WORK!" And the employees that are filthy people ignore it and then go cook your food.
This is another reason why, beyond that type ill behavior, I tell people to not ever mistreat wait staff when they are dining in. Those who handle your food before you eat it are the one's in control. Not you.

There are exemptions from minimum wage requirements as pertains to Agricultural laborers. There is no mandate they be paid minimum wage. Which is what you're implying would apply should citizens be employed in the orchards and fields of America rather than criminal alien trespassers into the country. Not true!
Illegal aliens take jobs from Americans! They're not here to have a better life! They're here to take advantage of our soft belly , make tax free money, and send millions of tax free American dollars back to their homeland through wire service!
If they wanted a better life for themselves they'd stay in their home country and apply for the outsourced American jobs that are available there.
Mexico! Get a job making VW Beetles!

Tell people during Obama's presidency and who stood in line for food handouts they wouldn't work in the local fields if it meant they could earn a wage and feed their family regularly.
