umm i kinda agree mary wasnt ever virgin...she had children Matthew 13:54 and just because he is born out of mary doesnt mean he was her real son(divine son) just as he potrays himself being called davids son Matthew 22:41....as for the cruxifix a cross without his body there shud be ok...because he is risen Hebrew 09:24
i love Paul and his writtings, we all preach from his letters and yet he calls himself least of all apostles(1 cor15:9),then he goes writting on(eph 3:8) he calls himself least of all saints,then on1tim1:15 he says he is a least of all sinners..more he got to grow in God and more he got to know him , he got more and more humbler and today in church its just the opposite we go from cheif of all sinners to, above all saints to apostles..
id check my life first than others.u might be asking are we not supposed to show them the way?..sure we should but calling someone evil and condeming em for what they beleive is not the way to do it,there has to be a better way or we are just a self righteous pricks,we cannot lead someone to the truth in an anger cuz blind cannot lead the blind Jesus said both will fall in to the ditch,

Monasticism isn't mystic at all, the closest you could get to mystical monasticism would probably be the Franciscans. Basically there may be mystics that are monastics, but most monastics aren't mystics. Heck, good luck finding a mystic among the Benedictines, they have no free time at all. All they they do is work, pray, eat, and sleep.
But I will agree with you that this new "protestant monastic" movement has really just taken some of the practices of Catholic monasticism and really screwed up the rest.

I was working up to saying some quite harsh things to and about Tobby17, but having seen his profile and noting hes Nigerian I think I understand his point of view. I certaintly dont agree with it, but to fair large tracts of africa are suffering unimaginable horrors thanks to catholic dogma. So if Tobby acts like a wounded animal I guess I can sympathise with that.
Hope your wounds heal and you find some peace in your life and learn lashing out at your abusers does you harm in equal measure.

I understand how expensive it is and yes it does sound rude but if this site supports and condones bashing other religions that are different than Martin Luther's interpretation of the bible, then I do not want my hard earned money going to support that. I am a Catholic myself and I cannot give money to go to something that is against me. In fact this is the only Christian Chat site I know of where I saw threads that condemns Catholics and any denomination that is different from Protestant or Evangelical Christianity. I would give it to my church or to charity to help feed the needy.
Plus for those who donate to this site, I do respect their decision but on the other hand, I alone choose not to.

Satanism is a religion that is vehemently opposed by this website. (atleast I sure would hope so!) It is also not in line with Martin Luther's interpretation of the bible. Objecting to false religion, is such a terrible thing. This website needs to be much more pluralistic, and become less Christian. I think the name should be changed to SecularChat.com

Many Christian denoms do it not just Catholics, so all good brother, preach Jesus, the good news not denominational doctrine I say, doesn't get blurry seeing the cross on Calvary as intended
