Yes, I know what Immanuel means "God with us," which also listed in the post.

Then you simply did not read my listing of everywhere that Jesus is referred to as God.

I would suggest that you go back and read all of the scriptures that I provided that refer to Jesus as being God.

Blessings!
No. It is not true that Jesus refered to himself as God, that God is Trinity or that the Holy Spirit is also God.

However, Jesus clearly stated 3 of the most important matters pertaining to our salvation in Jn 17:3.

Could you please show a text whereby his statement was modified, abolished or else?

Anyway, what you are trying to do is to prove that God lied to us, made mistakes or didn't really know what He was saying.

This is impossible!!!!

Therefore, if there are hundreds of fool-proof texts (nobody dear to manipulate) stating over and over that the Father is the only true/one God and to Him we pray; to Him be all the glory than perhaps we should trust Him.

By the way, the word "trinity" doesn't appear in the Bible and God commanded not to add nor remove that "iota" from His Word.

Shouldn't we uphold God's Word and consider It Holy instead of trying to justify the non-biblical theologies???

Isa 14 contains prophecy of the king of Babylon because God says so. If you don't believe God than you may have a problem.
Just the response I expected. Of you offer nothing more than mere opinion. How is it about the Babylonian King? And which King in particular?

Then, could you, please tell us what "Emmanuel" in Isa 8:8 means?
Emmanuel in Isa.8:8 also means "God with us."

Below is Isa.7:14

"Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and she will call Him Immanuel."

The virgin will be with child
= Mary

The child Mary gave birth to
= Jesus, whose title is Emmanuel, which means God with us, i.e. Jesus is God in the flesh

"while we wait for the blessed hope--the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ."

"Then Jesus said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and look at My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe.”

Thomas replied, “My Lord and my God!

Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Hi Jerzy, would you say the Word of God is more clear to whom those He reveals it ?
Be careful. Test the prophets. Consider De 13:1-4.

God has revealed His word to His creation.
However, there are thousands of the Christian registered denominations claiming correctness of their "interpretation". They often disagree or even contradict.

Money and power over people can change the facts.

OK. Concerning the temptation. Please consider:

1. Jesus was aware of the prophecies.
2. He was without food for 40 days (and nights).
3. If you were in his shoes wouldn't you begin questioning the prophets or justifying taking advantage of the prophecies?

Please consider Jam 1:14-15 and Ro 7: 12-25.
So Jesus was just hallucinating? Maybe He was hallucinating through out His entire ministry. As for the questioning the prophets, I don’t know what context you are using. Of course if we are going by your logic context is non-essential. Just say God says so and give other passages without validation.

Please read what God says.

By the way, this isn't the only prophecy about the king of Babylon.

First of all, I don't know why you are going on about the Trinity. This is about the fact that Jesus is God, as the John 1:1 clearly states:

"In the beginning was the Word. And the Word was with God ad the Word was God. Even God the Father refers to Jesus as God:

==========================================

But about the Son He (the Father) says:

Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever,

and justice is the scepter of Your kingdom.

You have loved righteousness

and hated wickedness;

therefore God, Your God, has anointed You

above Your companions with the oil of joy

=========================================

To say that Jesus is not God, is to be like a JW or a Mormon who believes that Jesus is just a created being.

If you have an employee who is working under an employer, are they not still not both equal as human beings?

God the Father has His role and Jesus has his, but they are both one as God.

I believe God.
He has foretold and fulfilled all so far. He will fulfill the outstanding promises.
Please answer in all honesty, where did you come with the doctrine? No Satan, no fallen angels. I never heard this before.

Are you saying that Thomas, who didn't even leave an epistle, contradicted the prophets, Jesus and all of the NT writers.

Or, perhaps the multiple meaning word "Theos" has been rendered out of the biblical context to contradict the entire Word of God pertaining to the salvation of sinners.

Isaiah 49:16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

40 And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.

27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

So far you haven't pointed me to the script stating that satan is a fallen angel than, perhaps you should consider what the word really means.

Satan means opposer when translated. We know from Jam 1:14-15 and Ro 7:13-25 (to point the least) that we have two "identity". One of them knows what is good and what we should do but the other one makes us do what we know we shouldn't do.

Jesus was tested much harder that we are. He could have claimed the foretold glory. He never did. He always gave glory to his God and his Father.

Was he hallucinating? I can't say but if he was a human as everyone of us that...you try to stay alone without food for 40 days.

Nop. Jn 1: doesn't state that Jesus is God.

John refers to the Word of God like Isa 55:11, Ps33:6-9 or particularly to 2Sam 7:12

So if I have this right, Jesus is not actually God, but he was tempted by an imaginary Being due to hunger while listening to the prophecies of old. Do I have this correct?

I was born in the Catholic faith but decided to trust God and considered His Word Holy.

The multiple meaning word "Theos" never denotes Jesus. You are referring to the falsified rendering.

And so do I, but we are coming to different conclusions. How can that be if we both are reading the same Bible?

Could God be tempted?

Could God die?

Are you sure you could kill God?

Well, you haven't pointed us to the text stating that satan is a fallen angel.

On the other hand, I have pointed you to texts by God on that matter.

I believe God.

Do you believe God, Aerials?
