My fellow workers in Christ, If I offended any of you with my post, it's only cause it applied to you. If it stung the flesh, good, it might have killed it a bit. I was not trying to be wise, or self-righteous in what I said, cause well in fact I never said anything, all I did was quote a verse of scripture.
The reason for me posting it was I came onto this thread out of genuine interest, and was quite disappointed in the amount of bickering going on in it, especially a few in particular. The reason it leaves me discontented is because well, are we not all followers of Christ? Why then do we spend so much time debating amongst people who are also in the light with us. If we are both in the light and out of darkness what do we have to discuss other than who's light is brighter, but does it really matter. By the grace of God you're saved, and by the grace of God it cost nothing. Just as it was freely given unto you, so must you freely give.
You have non-Christians on this site too, who come on here whether they know it or not seeking some kind of hope and we have it, or are supposed to at least. But they see this exhaustive disputes and must be put off more than I am, cause if I also believe in God and it disturbs me, how much more is it going to disturb them?
The world can't afford for us to be spending all our time correcting minute things, when there are literally millions upon millions who don't even know the truth.
There's a 1000 eye's on us guy's so come on let's just stand united for once and be examples; and be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.
