you also think you have to keep the Sabbath to be saved. your opinions are filtered through a keep the law perspective. your opinions are suspect.
I believe in walking with Yashua as His Disciple and being obedient to Him Heb 5v9. Christians have yet to LEARN OBEDIENCE to enter the Kgd of God ! Last time I read scripture the DISObedient will not inherit the Kgd.....but it's your choice....nobody is being forced ! That is the beauty of Grace and FREEdom of the NT !

For those who believe celebrating holidays is anti-God:

Do you believe that those who do celebrate have their salvation in jeopardy?

Most believe that keeping Torah is connected to blessing and curses not salvation.

well, since gentiles were never commanded to keep the Sabbath, gentiles are not being disobedient by CHOOSING not to do so, to honor the 1 day of rest that God the Father modeled.

I didn't think so since I see in Mathew 16:4 A wicked and adulterous generation seek after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.
If Jonah was in the belly of the whale or Fish tree days and three night how do we get that out of Friday to Sunday?
The only way you can get from friday to sunday is to count the HUMAN way with bits and parts of days and nights which is not according to scripture 1Cor 15v3,4.and Jesus' own prediction Joh 11v9, and Mat 12v40....all pointing to a scriptural Sabbath-resurrection during Daylight .....and NOT a middle of the night resurrection in darkness taught by the RCC of Rome introducing a false christ.
This has all been thoroughly covered in other threads if you want to follow it.

OK I'm going to make a bold statement, It is NOT my intent to offend anyone or imply anyone is a pagan. Just to get us to think about whats going on. Knowing the origins of Easter https://www.britannica.com/topic/Easter-holiday
How can we celibate rEaster when it is clearly a pagan practice not seeing anything about eggs and bunny's in the Bible?
Isn't it a replay of the golden calf incident? They where not worshiping the calf. They where worshiping God with the calf.
"Aron said let us make a feast to the LORD" paraphrasing.
Intentions are key. If a pagan holiday includes prayer, should we stop praying so as not to be like them? We had it first. God made bunnies, eggs, and fertility. The god of fertility is... God. Christians should celebrate Easter, every day in fact- it is when Jesus rose from the dead, saving us all. Just because they add bunnies to Easter, and Santa to Christmas, doesn't mean we should stop celebrating Christ's birth and His resurrection. My intention is always God 100%- not some pagan false god. I do not worship my Christmas tree, not even partially, but if having one was viewed as worshiping a false god in today's world, I would not have one for the sake of those who really believed that that is what I was doing.

So since all of the commands in the Torah was given to Israel, and if we refer to our self as a gentile. Does any of the commands apply to us?

Sure you can look at it this way if you like...but bear in mind that we will be judged according to the Word of GOD - NOT our own understanding, which obviously is leading people astray Prov 3v5. Being able to make your own choice does NOT MAKE IT RIGHT but rather shows GOD what side you are on....do you agree with HIM or want things your own way ?

jewish days went from sundown to sundown. so, by that way of counting, Jesus died on thur, was dead on Sabbath, did not rise until after sundown , meaning the Sabbath had passed, and that takes us to ' early in the morning on the first day of the week".

So its OK for me to worship God anyway I want to as long as my intentions are good no matter how he says he feels about it?
Who do I worship God or myself?

We became spiritual Jews- therefore all of God's laws now apply to us. However, all of Gods people are no longer under the authority of Moses, but of Christ, and under Christ's authority we obey God's laws spiritually- not physically like we did under Moses. That way of obeying God's law has been nailed to the cross forevermore amen!

I do agree with Him. He said of Jesus " this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased . hear Him!

so, that would be the words in red.

the Father did NOT say " hear Me through Him".

so, unlike the hebrew roots/ sda, and all the other piles of garbage, I believe what the Father said of the Son.

No, we need our intentions right and be according to the bible. It is explained perfectly in post #6.
