This interesting waste of time and typing between Corbin and Lenna (and whomever else), could be considered as a study in missing the point , I think.
This energy you’ve expended in trying to explain how YOU see it : took away from the power we could have had together, (Scriptural reference) . Imagine the breakthroughs we could cause to happen through the leading of Holy Ghost , if the time/energy used for these lofty time-wasting philosophical points of Who Cares could be energized toward doing our part in Gods plan for the world. Oh, it would be awesome!
We , as members of Gods’ family here on Earth have WAY too much business to do for the Kingdom.
Your exercise is akin to counting the number of angels that can alight on a tip of a pin. Who cares !?? Our king of the world wants His will done on Earth and US (!!!) to be the agents of change.
Let’s not get distracted.
Peace and Love.
Hi Graceguy, and welcome to CC...
Respectfully, you are doing exactly what you decry. If you think that discussing issues of scriptural interpretation is a waste of time, then don't get involved in the discussion. Doing so makes you a hypocrite, as you are the judge of nobody here. ;)

Your objection is noted. As a student of scripture it would have been nice to know which point we missed. Here's what the ALL-Mighty thinks of Christians involving themselves with the Law:

Romans 10:4
"For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth."

Galatians 2:16
"Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified."

Galatians 2:21
"I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain."

Galatians 3:10
"For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them."

Galatians 5:4
"Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace."

Galatians 5:12
"I would they were even cut off which trouble you."

Galatians 5:18
"But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law."

Galatians 6:13
"For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh."

Philippians 3:2
"Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision."

I think that we should be allowed to "waste some time" discussing scriptures of such gravity. I mean, don't you think making Christ's death VAIN is not serious? (Gal.2:21). Or making "Christ of no effect" - is that not likely to provoke the Father Who paid such a high price and honored His Son so highly for this? Is it a light thing, and a waste of time, to warn a fellow Christian that they could "become a curse" if they followed through with their activities of Law?

Notwithstanding, go well bro.
