Does Israel fit into this for you?
Yes...the kingdom of the beast and the beast make a full out assault on Israel to destroy Israel....according to Zechariah and Isaiah, Israel goes all the way through the tribulation period and are protected thru the wrath of God and come through in their physical bodies and re-populate the waste cities of Israel.....they will collectively as a nation believe when they look upon him whom they pierced....

What most don't understand is that it is all about Israel...the Lord comes to defend his people and his land and his city....the gathering of the gentile saved is secondary in my view!

Yes. The Bible is truth. The rest of this stuff is modernism. It's not Biblical. Wasn't even around when America was born. This isn't the word. This is a little here and a little thereism.

Let's see, we have pre and post tributers, pre-, a-, and post-millennialists, add a little dispensationalism into the mix, (which I've just been told isn't always agreeing with one another either), and, oh, yeah, let's not forget the preterists. How many variations is that, particularly when you can take a little from Column A, some from Column B, and let's not forget Row E?

Everyone is absolutely sure they're right and everyone else is wrong. AND, this is how they spend their time. Let's argue this stuff, instead of focusing on God.

The word? I don't think so. This is a preoccupation to avoid the word in all its/his glory. (Notice about 20 verse used, each one to prove someone else is wrong.) That's why it just keeps on going. Nothing better than have people thinking they're following God, when, in reality, everyone is proving a pet theory.

That's why there's never agreement. This isn't supposed to be agreed on any more than eating that fruit from that tree was a good idea.
Not sure why you would say such things....

a. The bible states that it is a little here and little there, line upon line and precept upon precept so not sure of your first point.
b. Yes there is division, because most do not study, but regurgitate what they have always been taught or have just read the bible and do not study words, verb tenses, context, historical context etc.....
c. There is only one truth and if everyone is honest with the truth and what it teaches we will all come to the same conclusions
d. It takes being born again to understand the word...there are not 50 gospels as there is only one.....people who are not genuinely saved will not be able to spiritually discern the word-->hence the differences and different flavors of so called Christianity and the multiple views on the end
e. And not sure of your last two points as God does promote unity in the word......the division comes because of the reasons above.....

One thing I will say about the end times is that....currently...the scale of the worlds consumption and the exponential rate that it it is growing appears to be tenuous at best and chaotic and full death and destruction at its worst.

I think this verse debunks a pretrib rapture, otherwise the beast would have no one to make war against during that time.
NOt at all, you still have the Jews and there will still be a chance for people to pick sides, choose the mark or reject it and cry out to the true God.

Being raptured out will be a clincher for many people, if they know someone and "poof" they are gone, then that will bring more people to accept God as real.

Then it's a partial rapture. Gentiles are gone and Jews stay like the 144,000. Is that it?

That's for sure. We cannot continue as things are right now. It's just a matter of time, and it's gettin' short.

Im really not trying to be argumentative but my gut tells me that no one gets outa this life alive....and I've heard pretty convincing arguments for at least the most known interpretations of the rapture. It's just not a hill that's important for me to die on.

Do not fear my friend. Here is a promise.
"And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened." Matthew 24:22

Thank you. When I was in my early 20's I had a vision looking down on the city I live in laying in ruins. I used to be fearful of what I believe will come in my lifetime but now I know in my heart that all I have to do is seek after Jesus with all my heart and that is all I need.

Amen and for the record...the last judgment of God shakes every city on the planet to the ground......not one will be left standing!

As I have said so many times before - no rapture in the Bible, except the Latin Vulgate.

"Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord." 1 Thess. 4:17 ESV

"ἔπειτα ἡμεῖς οἱ ζῶντες οἱ περιλειπόμενοι ἅμα σὺν αὐτοῖς ἁρπαγησόμεθα ἐν νεφέλαις εἰς ἀπάντησιν τοῦ κυρίου εἰς ἀέρα· καὶ οὕτως πάντοτε σὺν κυρίῳ ἐσόμεθα." 1 Thess. 4:17 Greek

Jesus returns only once! The word ἀπάντησιν or apantasin means "meeting" but a little bit more! The word had a technical meaning in the Hellenistic world related to the visits of dignitaries to cities where the visitor would be formally met by the citizens or a deputation and then ceremonially escort him back to the city.

Apantasin only occurs two other places in Scripture - Acts 28:15 (when Paul was met and escorted back to Rome) and Matt 25:6 where the virgins come out to meet the bridegroom and are escort him inside.

The really weird thing about the way apantasin is translated, is in every version I checked, it is translated as an infinitive. It does not have the right ending to say "to meet" and in fact is the accusative case of the noun apantasis.

Finally, good hermeneutics requires that in order to form a doctrine such as "the rapture" in which Jesus meets us in the air and takes us to heaven (not in this verse at all!) that it be backed up in other places in Scripture. Plus, Revelation 20 is the only place a millennium is mentioned, in the most symbolic book in the whole Bible. Therefore, highly symbolic language, in that chapter!

So no rapture and no millennium is my vote!

I am still trying to find where either Jesus anytime,or the disciples, after Pentecost spoke about a third temple built by human hands. :p

?? for both of you.....

Have the Jewish people accepted the new covenant? NO
When do they (the remnant) trust Jesus? Not until they look on him whom they pierced-->Zechariah

They (the Jewish people) have
1. Bred a red heifer for sacrifice
2. Have the Kohen priesthood trained
3. Have all instruments ready for temple sacrifice
4. Have (off site) a complete (temple built and ready to construct)
etc.

1. They will have no allies when the end comes
2. They will have all nations gathered together against them

Why is it so hard to believe that they will in moment of desperation build something and then start offering sacrifices in hope that God will hear and defend them?

I personally think it is quite plausible that they will build something along the lines of the tabernacle.....

and what is Jesus speaking of when he and Daniel speak of the Abomination that maketh desolate stand in the HOLY PLACE (the image of the beast)? Where is the HOLY PLACE that he is speaking of?

The second temple which was STILL STANDING when Jesus was speaking those words. Jesus never says it's a DIFFERENT temple then the one that is STILL STANDING. The onus is ON YOU to show that Jesus is TALKING about a THIRD temple built by human hands and NOT the temple that was still standing.
