And the say can be said about someone who stubbornly believe in something that Jesus never claimed. In regards I am the way every person sent to a group of people nation or otherwise is the way and the truth at that specific time , Moses , Jacob etc.

As for the word was God , I invite to you to do a research on that ; to my knowledge in the Old Testament when God wants to address the ppl He would say I , I do , I am a jealous god and so on . Joh 1:1 it looks like a claim or an opinion of someone. Look up of Bart D. Herman has a nice talk on this topic : how Jesus became God?

This is your quote : “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act" -Bonhoeffer I am here to argue . We seek the truth and share it

You're not reading what I write.
In post #58 I wrote...No. Your salvation depends on the perfect work Christ Jesus did for us including His death and rising from the dead.

Yes He has RISEN FROM THE DEAD! That is Who we serve!!

You need to refer to who you are quoting...that wasn't my quote.

John 4:44: For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country. This is what Jesus says when he speaks about himself.

John 4:44: For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country. This is what Jesus says when he speaks about himself.
He was referring to the disrespect people from His own town showed Him.
He is a prophet but more than a prophet, more than a teacher, He is God in the flesh.

For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom did not know God, God was pleased to save those who believe through the nonsense of our preaching. Jews ask for signs, and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach the Messiah crucified. He is a stumbling block to Jews and nonsense to gentiles, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, the Messiah is God's power and God's wisdom. For God's nonsense is wiser than human wisdom, and God's weakness is stronger than human strength.
(1Co 1:21-25)

Goodbye.

If he were god he should haves said pray to me , I am god. Why suppose what he did not claim? Your quote shows clearly that Jesus was sent by the Father. You say it yourself in the service of god.
Why would He say pray to me when He specifically told them to pray to the Father? What are you saying He did not claim? Do you suppose to understand His words better than those who sought to kill Him because He equated Himself with God? It was for that very reason. Yes, He was serving God. Who does your right hand serve? Oh little man, why do you want to dictate to God how He should have done things?

You are my employee ( in this instance a prophet) I send you on a mission and you claim to be the CEO or owner of the firm that cannot be. You are putting words in the mouth of Jesus . If in the day of judgment Jesus asks me why do you believe I am a prophet I will tell him because you said so. If he tells me why I don't consider him as god I will tell him you never CLEARLY , UNEQUIVOCALLY said so rather presumptions . I think I will be saved.

Sorry, He simply said that a prophet hath no honour in his own country. He is not specifically saying that He is a prophet. This is your very own standard I am applying to you. Do you have a verse were He specifically identifies Himself as a prophet?

My point is if he were god he would have said so and not leave ppl in confusion. The Jews wanted to kill him first because he spoke in parables second he threatened their worldly positions and gain. Can you show me where he equated himself to god ?
