What did I say in the love-in thread?

They'll call our presence a conspiracy.

Love it when I'm right.

I do read you..... or at least who you're trying to be..... It's so hard to pick out the sockpuppets when they all look & sound alike.:)

This is a key question. Did Christ do enough to save us?
No.

We have to
1. Repent of our sins
Important questions::: What does repentence mean? How does one ""repent"" What does one do?

2. Believe on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins
What does the term ""Believe on the cross"" mean in simple words?

3. Follow Jesus
What does that entail?

4. Obey Jesus's commands
What are His commands that we must obey?

5. Dwell in Gods word
What does the word Dwell in relation to the Dwell in Gods word?

6. Walk in the Spirit, in communion with God
And what does ""walk in the Spirit"" mean in ordinary every day speech?

The reason why I created the thread was to make a point.
Our response matters, it is a relationship, though in some conversations it
was getting to the point it was just Jesus and it was blasphemy to say man
is involved at all.

I think this spell is now broken, so Amen

Amazing isn't it? Christ couldn't do it, but we can, and yet we exalt God too much.
The exact false logic that pours from the "workers for".....we have to help God do what God said he would do.....a very weak, ineffectual god they serve....needs help......

Here we have a problem.

I am saved, therefore I need do nothing more, I have arrived, job done, it is sealed.

Or I am saved, therefore I follow, obey, desire, walk, run, commune, work, seek respond
am alive and moving. If I deny these things I die inside, become a withered branch, empty
without substance.

Now this appears to be the two stories presented. So if life is not electric, not wow, what a
King, how do we realise this more, there is a problem.

So another way of expressing this is as a flow from one to the other. But as soon as I do,
I am then a false teacher, a works salvationist. It becomes like a censorship, where to talk
about fruit, about delight, about the glories of the gospel, about righteousness and doing the
right thing, about helping people, seeing opportunity everywhere is boasting and pride.

So I suspect rather than these condemners being saved, they are the opposite, and this
really bugs them, and anything that reminds them of this must be attacked and repressed.
So those who truly come alive are rejected. It seems to work this way here on cc.

Get excited about what Jesus and love mean, and you are a legalist, evil and lost.
So I must conclude the Spirit in them is not the Spirit at work in me and my excitement
at what our King can do in our hearts, is not something they relate to at all.

At all the other levels of my faith and expression this has been true, so why not this
one also. Certainly they are no friends of mine, lol.
The Truth is, they are Faith Only Believers. Nothing else required. i say Faith + Works = Salvation, then they accuse me of a Works ONLY teacher. Which by saying Faith + Works = Salvation. is PROOF i don't believe in Works ONLY Salvation. But because they are a Faith ONLY group, any time you add Works into anything at all, you are automatically a Works Based Teacher. Fret not over them, let the dead bury their dead. All we can do, is continue to teach what the Word of God says, all they can do, is continue to believe their false Truth they hold on to, despite the many people God sends to them, to try to help them see the error of their ways, They ignore any Scripture that contradicts the few verses they misinterpret to keep for themselves. Blind they are, and a broad and wide ditch is their destination. But we are to Love them, despite what they believe. They think they know the TRUTH, but devoid of the Truth of Scriptures. If what you believe contradicts even one verse in Scriptures, then what you believe is WRONG, only if they would hearken to that statement and come out of their sleeping.

That is what Jesus gave the parable of the seeds by the wayside. Remember the seeds upon the rocks. They accepted the Word with JOY, but did not remain in it, did they? Getting Saved is EASY and is a gift to anyone who will receive it. BEING SAVED is a narrow and difficult path, which only a very few will find it, but these same will be wearing the "HOPE of Salvation" as a helmet to help them on that narrow and difficult path that leads to (notice they have not arrived at it, until the end of the path) to Life Everlasting. As long as a person is on the path that leads there, they have not achieved it, it is only if they endure to the end, do they achieve the prize of Everlasting Life. Many claim they are on the narrow and difficult path, not realizing they are indeed on the broad and wide and easy path, which all the FAITH ONLY believers adhere to. Tell me, how is the path that you are on, difficult? If you already have SALVATION? Salvation is at the end of the narrow and difficult path. This generation falsely believe they have already attained the prize of Salvation, because they merely believe, they merely believe they are on the narrow and difficult path, how is that not a broad and easy path that leads to destruction?

Another "maintenance worker"....
Yes, i suppose so. Just as Jesus was, and all the Apostles were too. For which of them did not teach to maintain good works? You must be one of those Faith Only believers.

Could you describe to me a Faith ONLY Based religion? And then tell me how you do not fit into that category?

Faith ONLY Based religions believe that believing in Jesus is enough, need DO nothing else.
Works ONLY Based religions believe that by doing Good deeds/works will get you into Heaven.
TRUE Christians believe the Word of God (ALL OF IT, not just the parts that talk about Faith) which teaches Faith + Works go hand in hand, NOT one without the other. Faith by itself = DEAD. Works by itself = DEAD. Those who believe that Faith is enough = DEAD. Those who believe Works is enough = DEAD. Woe to this generation indeed.

Sounds like fear...you know the kind that brings terror. Cast not away your confidence...

Heb 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any mandraw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
Heb 10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Draw back from what?

Here is a message from God"s Word.

1Jn 1:5 And this is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.
1Jn 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us. MKJV

This is a message, not of requirements for salvation, but the results of salvation. Sin breaks fellowship with God. Confession of sin restores fellowship. God is faithful and just, and He forgives and cleanses. Pay particular attention to the placement of the word "all" in verse 9. In confession our fellowship is restored.

Don't fear the loss of salvation. If you have received it, you still have it. Seek a closer fellowship with Christ.

Peter, in response to your OP question, "Did Christ do enough to save us?" Absolutely. My question is "Did you do enough for Christ to save you?" Did you accept the FREE gift of salvation by grace? That's all it takes. Accepting the free gift not tossing it aside. If you accepted the free gift, open it. Experience the love that comes with it. Share the love that you receive from it.
Yet another person (Billyd) trying to reach the Faith Only believers. People, How many servants does God have to send to you, for you to start believing Scriptures, and get rid of the doctrines that you hold on to that does not line up with ALL OF SCRIPTURES. You altogether pick and choose which verses you will believe and which ones you will reject, you adamantly hold on to all the verses which speak of Grace, Faith, Free gift, Sealed, all the while ignore, make void, or interpret away all the hundreds of other verses which talk about works, fruits, deeds, and to LOVE ONE ANOTHER. You choose to believe some but not ALL.

In heaven for all eternity we will be proclaiming " Worthy is the Lamb"

It will never be - "Worthy is the Lamb...and me because I did my part to keep myself righteous by what I did.."
And yet Jesus Christ, whom you say is your Lord, COMMANDS you to Love One Another.
Did your Lord not say "If you Love ME, you will do what I say"
Therefore those who DO NOT do what He says, Do NOT love Him, no matter how loudly they proclaim it with their mouths that they do.

Jesus said "If you Love Me, you will do what I say"

How many claim to Love Him, but do not do what He says because they believe the lie that you just said above, making VOID all verses which teach we must maintain Good Works, Good Fruits. i will tell you the TRUTH, any tree that produces no Good Fruits will be rejected by Jesus Christ, because Jesus Christ COMMANDED all His followers to Love One Another. Woe to this wicked and perverse generation which makes excuses NOT to Love One another, they altogether believe in a Faith ONLY doctrine, and adamantly teach, NOTHING else is required. If indeed NOTHING else is required, God would not have COMMANDED us to Love One Another. But those who are devoid of the TRUTH will remain in that state, unless they get rid of the false doctrines they dearly hold on to, which is not very likely in this generation, But all things are possible to them that KNOW GOD.

Those who LOVE OTHERS, LOVE JESUS CHRIST. Those who do not Love Others Do NOT LOVE Jesus Christ. For Jesus taught plainly, "If you Love Me, you will do what I say" This generation does NOT do what He says, they believe satan that has blinded them into believing that FAITH ONLY is all that is needed, which Scriptures plainly teaches against.

There is no work you can do to save yourself.
Absolutely True. And AFTER you are SAVED, then there are things you MUST DO. That is why Jesus COMMANDED us to Love One Another. We don't Love One Another to get Saved, we Love One Another because we ARE SAVED. Woe to those who don't.

Here is the difference between a "works-based mindset" and "the gospel of the grace of Christ mindset".

We don't "do things in order to be saved." We "do things because we have been saved" and we have an exchanged life by our union with Christ. Get this wrong and we have violated the gospel of the grace of Christ and we have in effect nullified the grace of God from operating in our life.

Unfortunately this I believe is the chief reason people say your gospel is not from Christ and it is backwards and "works-based".

Yes, there will be works of righteousness ( not for righteousness ) which stems from His life in us as we walk by the spirit. But we need to feed people the proper nutrients of the gospel of the grace of God in order for them to grow in Christ.

They need to receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness in order to grow up in the Lord and manifest the fruit of His life in our lives so that people can see the love and grace of God for them.

But you are trying to create the "root" of salvation from the fruit. This is backwards and it is "works-based".

It is the "root" that has the life of Christ in it and it's His life in us that produces the "fruit".

Works for righteousness and salvation is the complete opposite of the true gospel of the grace of Christ.

It sounds to me like you have things screwed up. There are not things we MUST DO after we are saved, we DO things after we are saved BECAUSE we ARE saved. The works are the Christ in us, not our works.
Col 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

So i have things screwed up if i say we MUST put off the deeds of the old man After we are SAVED, How is me saying we MUST put off anger AFTER we are SAVED, different than what this verse teaches likewise?

So you say there are NOT things we MUST DO after we are SAVED, yet Scriptures plainly teach in many different places what we MUST DO AFTER we are SAVED.

Are you suggesting i do not put off lying one to another, but just let Jesus do that for me? Seriously? No wander this generation does not have any Works at all to back up their Faith, they are relying on Jesus to MAKE them stop lying, i guess if they don't stop lying one to another, that would mean Jesus FAILED to do it for them, right? Is that the logic?

If Jesus in me makes me to LOVE ONE ANOTHER, why would Jesus COMMAND us that we MUST DO THAT? Hence the reason it is a COMMANDMENT. my point is, if Jesus in us causes us to LOVE ONE ANOTHER, then there would have been no need whatsoever for Jesus to COMMAND us to Love One Another, if He was going to make that happen in us anyways. Do you not see the flaw is this logic?

So you say there are NOT things we MUST DO After we are Saved, and Scriptures teach that there are things we MUST DO after we are Saved, who do you suggest i listen to? Scriptures which teach us now that we are a new man in Christ to put off the deeds of the old man (MUST DO) or you which say we don't need to do anything after we are Saved, but rely on Jesus to do it for us?

Why are we instructed that we MUST DO these things:

Eph 4:21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Why are we instructed to DO these things, if Jesus in us is going to perform these good things in us automatically? Why would the Word of God plainly tell us NOT TO STEAL any more, if that is going to be achieved in us anyways with Jesus in us?

Scriptures plainly teach us to put away lying one to another, this is something a person MUST DO once they are Saved, why? Because that is what we are instructed to do by the Apostles of Jesus Christ in the Holy Inspired Word of God is why.
What? Jesus is going to Make me stop lying? What? i can continue to lie, until Jesus finishes the work in me that He is doing in me? seriously? Thats like saying, i am going to keep on sinning until Jesus takes it away from me, until He finishes the work that He has started in me. What then, let us just wait on Jesus and DO What His Word instructs us to do?

Brother i do not have things screws up, This generation seems to have a monopoly on that.

Here is the difference between a "works-based mindset" and "the gospel of the grace of Christ mindset".

There are 3 different mindsets, that you seem to forget to mention here. There is the Faith-based mindset, There is the Works-based mindset, and there is a Faith and Works- based mindset.

Faith-based mindset believes that believing is enough, nothing else is required.
Work-based mindset believes that works is enough and believing is not necessary.
Faith & Works-based mindset believes that Faith and Works go hand in hand not one without the other.

Let's try to get something understood, that you and others seem to be not willing to understand. i do not have a Work-based mindset. So please stop saying that i do, it is not Godly nor is it the TRUTH. i am most assuredly a Faith & Works - Based mindset. Try to get that in your understanding, instead of assuming falsely that i am a work-based mindset. Thanks.

"do things in order to be saved." We "do things because we have been saved"
And you are telling me this, because you think i don't know this? Right? Have i said any where at all, that you must do things in order to be Saved? No, i have not, nor even implied that, but somehow you seem to think that is what i believe. It is false.

"do things in order to be saved." We "do things because we have been saved"
and we have an exchanged life by our union with Christ. Get this wrong and we have violated the gospel of the grace of Christ and we have in effect nullified the grace of God from operating in our life.
What you seem to refuse to believe, is that it is the Grace of God that gets us Saved, not keeps us there. We choose to either stay in His Grace or walk away from it. What? You don't think anyone can fall away from the Faith after having it? What? You don't think anyone who GETS SAVED can possibly turn away from God in the future, that they are sealed? What? Have you not read and understood the parable of the seeds by the wayside? Who, when they heard the Word, believed in the Word, and accepted it with JOY, but later because of this or that, they whither and died?

Unfortunately this I believe is the chief reason people say your gospel is not from Christ and it is backwards and "works-based".
What is it to me what others believe or don't believe, i am not their judge? But i will comment on that part that says my gospel. If what i teach is contrary to Scriptures then show it. Else how is it a false gospel. You have the Gospel, and you say that you believe it. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, are the gospels that you believe, i also believe them and teach what they say. So how does this generation say or believe it is "my" gospel? i believe the same gospel as all of you do. except one difference. i believe EVERY verse in the gospels, i do not pick and choose which ones i will believe in and which ones i won't believe, the TRUTH that God gave to me, does not contradict even one verse in all of Scriptures, why? Because it is God's Truth, and He does not contradict Himself.

Yes, there will be works
of righteousness ( not for righteousness ) which stems from His life in us as we walk by the spirit. But we need to feed people the proper nutrients of the gospel of the grace of God in order for them to grow in Christ.

Joh_6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Jesus is the Word. The Word is food. If then i teach that a person MUST do what Jesus Christ Commanded them to do, that is to Love One Another, then i am trying to give a person the best nutrients they can possibly eat. What part of the Word, Old or New does not teach to Love One Another? But do you see where the dilemma is. This generation anti-works. To Love One Another is indeed WORKS. Jesus COMMANDS us to have Works. But you see an anti-works generation which believe in a Faith ONLY religion, will refuse to believe that. But it does not take a genius to figure out when Jesus COMMANDED us to Love One Another, He was Commanding us to have works, which is confirmed in other places in the Word of God (Be sure to maintain good works)

They need to receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness in order to grow up in the Lord and manifest the fruit of His life in our lives so that people can see the love and grace of God for them.
What you are describing here is what Scriptures attributes to a person who is GETTING SAVED. Grace and the gift of righteousness is given ONCE, when a person accepts the free Gift, and GETS SAVED. Once a person is SAVED, they are to abide in Christ, abide in the Word, the instructions for all Christians to live by, hence the reason we have other books that are not a part of the Gospel Books. The New Testament is given to Christians to OBEY. The New Testament is not written for amusement. But specifically written for those who accept the Free Gift of Salvation, by Grace through Faith, to believe and live by. When the Word of God says "Now put off lying one to another " That is not a request, not something that you should TRY to do, it is something you WILL do because you belong to Jesus Christ, and you do those things that please Him. Is it not written we are bought with a price? We do not own ourselves, we belong to Jesus Christ, His servant we are. We are to obey Him, and NOT His enemy, which is also what Scriptures plainly teach. But this generation does not believe any Scriptures that contradicts their own false doctrines.

But you are trying to create the "root" of salvation from the fruit. This is backwards and it is "works-based".

Please tell me where i have done what you are saying here. What have i said that leads you to believe that i am trying to create the "root" of salvation from the fruit? The Truth is though, i have never said or implied no such thing at all, it is in your head, that you think i think that.

It is the "root" that has the life of Christ in it and it's His life in us that produces the "fruit".

And if it produces bad fruits who is in you then? So let me understand this. if you do bad, it is because satan. But if you do good it is because of Jesus in you? So then you have no free will choice at all, NOTHING is your fault. you do evil because of satan, you do good because of Jesus, and therefore YOU CHOOSE NOTHING.

Tell me, when an atheist helps an old lady across the street, was that also Jesus in that person causing that person to have compassion on the old lady? What if a devil worshiper has compassion on a bum and gives them a few dollars. Was that Jesus working in them to cause them to do good? You do error if you think it is. We all have free choice to choose what we Do. Jesus nor satan MAKES us do anything at all, we choose to help or to not help another. We choose to Love someone or not Love them. Jesus in us does not Make us LOVE ONE ANOTHER. That is why He Commands us to do that, it is not automatic, because Jesus is in us, it is NOT something that Jesus does for us. True we can look to Jesus Christ for Strength, Power, and assistance, but just because Jesus is in us, it is not Him that chooses to do good, you choose that. You choose to do good or fail to do good, that is your choice to make. If you are waiting for Jesus to cause you to start Loving One Another, you are going to die without ever doing it. All the while thinking to yourself, "I am waiting for Jesus to do a great work in me" deceived they are, not knowing or understanding the Truth. Jesus Commanded us to Love One Another, NOT because that is something that He does in us, but we are Commanded to do that, because it is a choice for you to make, either to start obeying His Commandment, or continue to wait for Jesus to do something in you, that you are suppose to choose to do for your own self. The person who went and helped the Samaritan on the other side of the road, did not do so because Jesus Made him do it. He went and helped because he had compassion on that person, he Loved that person. He chose to Do what Jesus Christ Commanded him to do, he chose to Love. Which this generation seriously lacks in. Look at these boards, full of sarcasm, false accusations, lies, belittling others, name calling, and the list goes on and on. True Christians should not do these things, OR are you still waiting for Jesus to Make you Love Others?

Works for righteousness and salvation i
s the complete opposite of the true gospel of the grace of Christ.
sigh... .... And i have never said otherwise, or even implied it. You thinking that is what i think, is entirely in your head. Because NOTHING i have said anywhere at all, would indicate to you that is what i think. It's all in your head.

I'm saying that YOU have no power in YOUR WORKS to put off anything. If you are putting off anything, it is not you doing it.

Colossians 3:8-10 KJV
But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
[9] Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
[10] And have put on the new man , which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

If a person is truly saved then that person doesn't put those things off, those things are put off when we put on the new man. You can try your heart out to MAKE yourself do those things but if you don't have the new man you will never do it by your will.

You have things backwards. In your view, you get saved and then GO TO WORK perfecting yourself... that's not how it works and if you try to make it work that way you WILL FAIL.

The correct view is this. We get saved and GOD goes to work CHANGING us and perfecting us to the image of his son. See the difference?

There are only two religions in the whole world - do and done... biblical Christianity is done! We REST.

Well said!

I'm saying that YOU have no power in YOUR WORKS to put off anything. If you are putting off anything, it is not you doing it.
Tell me, if an atheist who gets angry all the time and loses many girlfriends because of his anger problem, puts off anger. Was it Christ in them that put off the anger or the guy himself? What if a Muslim decides to stop raping, was it Christ in that person that stopped that person from raping? If an atheist, and a Muslim can put off their bad works through their own power and not from Jesus Christ. How are you saying you can't do the same?
Did Jesus in me Make me quit looking at porn, or did i choose to stop looking at porn and prayed to help for His help in that matter?
Did Jesus make me quit smoking cigarettes, or was it the hardest thing i have ever done in my life? He did not do it for me, But i did it for Him.
Did Jesus make me quit having sex, been celibate over 10 years now, or did i choose to never again have a sexual relationship so that it would please Jesus Christ?
Did Jesus make me quit having the desire for money? Or did i choose to be poor to please Him?

It is True He allows me to do all things, and i do nothing without Him, but even the devil worshipers are in that boat too. satan would desire to take all of them right now, but it is Jesus, whom they do not even believe in, that prevents satan from taking them out of this world. So NOBODY Anywhere can do Anything without Jesus knowledge and/or approval. He has knowledge of the evil, and approval of the Good. Jesus doesn't make you do anything at all. You choose to either obey Him, or you choose to Fail to obey Him. That is why God gave us free will, so that we would choose correctly. Those who are waiting for Jesus in them to do all the work for them, will wait until it is to late for them.

Colossians 3:8-10 KJV
But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
[9] Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

This is simply not True. Atheist, who do not even believe in God have put off those things. Are you saying they have not? Indians who never knew Jesus Christ was able to put off those things as well. People all over the world not of the Christian Faith, have been able to put off those things without the help of Jesus Christ at all. Now you are saying we Christians can't either? Here is the problem. as long as this generation is waiting for Jesus to do the work in them, to MAKE them be better, more Godly, more Loving and what have you, they will NEVER attain it. Only those who draw close to God will He then draw close to them. If a person makes him/herself go out and Love One Another, this is drawing close to God, because when you do it for the least of them, you do it for God.. But if you are waiting for Jesus to change something in you that will cause you to go out and Love Other, you are going to wait forever, because it is not going to happen. We are Commanded to Love One Another, why? because it is not something that Jesus causes us to do automatically, it is something that we CHOOSE to obey. People wake up, you have been sleeping long enough.

You have things backwards. In your view, you get saved and then GO TO WORK perfecting yourself... that's not how it works and if you try to make it work that way you WILL FAIL.
lol, talking to someone who does all things to please Him. i have not failed. It is my desire to please Jesus which lives inside of me that helps me to live a life that is pleasing to Him. Sure i have to look to Him for His Strength and Power, every singly time i am tempted to commit a sin. But to Love One Another is a choice that we all make, it is not something that Jesus causes in us. If that were the case, then every single person who Jesus lived in, would be Loving Others 100% of the times. because Jesus is NOT weak, He is all powerful and could do that, IF that is how it was done, which it is NOT. Jesus lives inside of you, you choose to obey Him or not. You choose to Love One Another, or NOT. He does not make you Love Other, just as satan does not MAKE you commit sins. You choose to Love Others, you choose to commit sins.

The correct view is this. We get saved and GOD goes to work CHANGING you and perfecting to the image of his son. See the difference?
yeah i see a generation of those, All professing to be Christians, yet lacking Love One for Another is rampant. All waiting for God to change them, instead of them drawing close to God and start doing what He Commanded them to do. He, Jesus Christ, Commanded Christians to LOVE ONE ANOTHER, but as long as typical Christians from the last days continues to wait for God to do the work in them, they will do not work at all themselves.

Better start obeying Jesus Christ. Better start Loving One Another, don't care what the World says your doing "Oh he/she is just trying to get to Heaven by their works, poor soul" But guess what that poor soul is obeying Jesus Christ, which COMMANDED us to Love One Another. i guess the logic is then, if you are not Loving One Another, it must be the fault of Jesus because He is not working in you as He should. God forbid.

If you Love Jesus You will be doing what He says, and He says to Love One Another. This generation says they love Jesus are patiently waiting for Him to do a work in them. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when they are Judged to be goats saying "Lord my Savior, when did we not feed you, when did we not cloth you, when did we not help you, when did we not visit you?" And He will say to those Goats, when you did it NOT to the least of these, you did it not unto Me. So go ahead and wait for Jesus to do a work in you, when He is waiting for you to get off you tush, and start doing what He Commanded you to do, to Love One Another.

There are only two religions in the whole world - do and done... biblical Christianity is done! We REST.
And yet, Scriptures are full of things teaching us what to Do? Should i believe you which say we don't need to DO anything, but REST, or Scriptures which teach us what we should DO? Scriptures Commands us to Love One Another, you say Christians are DONE, let us REST instead, is that correct?
