A slightly bruised apple is not good, but it has some good parts. Do you think Jesus was saying there aren't any good parts in any of the world's apples?
Did Jesus qualify his statement in Mk 10:18? And besides...if any of the "apples" are partially good, then why couldn't we use the same rationale for God who alone is good? After all, you think Jesus was making a comparison between God and mankind; but in reality he was making a stark contrast! What you're trying to do is violate the Law of the Excluded Middle. There is no third option between good and evil in scripture.

Well, I humbly appreciate your kind words. Thank you so much, BB. And thank you, @Rosemaryx (I appreciate you so much), and thank you @Cameron143 for both of your emoji's of support.

Mersee, because you think this is funny, which is the behavior of abominations, you have joined the hateful Selahsays on the Ignore list. Now you have no voice.
Yeah...and I would love for you to stay as well. Just take a deep breath and step back a little. Regroup. Selahsays is a good person, even though she doesn't see all things as we do. Be patient, brother.

God limited the possible ways these people would express their own wills toward Christ in such a way that Jesus was crucified according to His predictions. prohorizO primary meaning is to limit beforehand. God predestines by limiting mens options and manipulating circumstances around them so that the way they carry out their own wills/desires is done in the limited prescribed way. Their wills are not unilaterally swapped for different wills.

Pilate wanted to release Jesus. God allowed demons to whip up the crowd and leaders so that Pilate carried out His will to acquit Jesus by washing his hands, and to carry out his will to avoid a riot by sending Jesus to the cross.
So God does have a permissive will? :coffee:

I have heard it said with some regularity on this site that God loves all people. It's a wonderful sentiment. And yet, there have been very large numbers of people who were born, lived, and died and never heard the gospel, heard the name Jesus, or was familiar with the One true God. Can someone tell me how God loved them?

Thank you so much, Rufus. I would like to add, however, that this isn't so much about patience as it is about helping people wake up. Placing people on Ignore and making it publicly known is a method to help them learn and understand that what they are doing is clearly against God's command, which is to Love God and others as "I" would like others to Love "me."

Certainly, I have needed correction in my life, and I appreciate it so much. These things said, I am asking that others would stop arguing with each other and follow my example. Choose a date (mine is the same time each year), and release all people on the Ignore list, raise them from the figurative dead (being on the I list) and give them another chance. I do this each year; which is to give all parties another chance to grow and develop on the path of Sanctification, if they are on that path at all. Time will only tell. To date, over of the many years, I have to see people come back with apologies and a change of behavior. I, however, have demonstrated such growth, as @PennEd will confirm. PennEd graciously forgave me for past ranting, so if I can change, anyone can. Thanks again . . . PennEd!! :D

Many of them also lived in nations where the belief in Yahweh/Yeshua was banned. So information was never being circulated. Even in China today most Missionaries can't enter into the Nation. Parts of Korea are also banned. Other nations hold the same ban. So the Truth about Jesus is not being circulated to each individual.

But there is an Affiliated Organization who has confirmed from all data that over 6 million people have heard the Gospel preached. Much of this data come from local churches and missionary numbers. The sad thing is the ratio of that 6 Billion shows 2.5 Billion claim to have accepted the message and are Believers while 3.5 Billion rejected the message as wanted no part of Jesus.

Well He loves them enough He is leading people to try and enter these nations at the risk of their own lives to smuggle in a single Bible or literature about Jesus. Hold secret meetings. We read in Christian News outlets how some of these people get caught and are sadly executed for what they did. But ultimately those who love God are obeying God to risk their lives and ultimately sacrifice their lives to spread the Gospel.

So you don’t believe John 3:16?

Also, our Father will make sure everyone has heard the gospel before He returns.

I'm not referring to people who have heard the Gospel, heard of Jesus, or heard of God. I asked about the large number of people throughout history who never did. How about them?

By the way, Mr. PT, here's a thought to stick in your bonnet and ruminate on with respect to the presence of sin in the eternal order:. Since ONE sin was enough to ruin and spoil the entire creation and impel God to put his three-fold curse upon all creation, then what would make heaven or the visible kingdom such a blessed hope if it were possible for any of God's elect angels or saints to once again ruin the new created order? Really? You really believe there is a possibility that sin could once again enter the universe, and that we'd all have to experience its pain, miseries, sorrows and even death again!? Since DEATH was the penalty of Adam's first sin, then what would make you think anything less than death would be the penalty for anyone's sin in the new order?

I don't know what kind of church you attend, or what your reading/study habits are but you are extremely weak in biblical orthodoxy! The numerous blessings and benefits of The Cross of Christ and his resurrection do indeed carry all the way through to eternity but not in a way you think. Rather, each of the three aspects of Salvation (Justification, Sanctification and Glorification) builds upon the previous ones -- with Glorification being the culmination and ultimate goal of salvation and truly being the blessed hope of all born again believers; for we know we'll be FREE FROM the presence of sin forever and ever. That's when we''ll finally and truly be FREE! From from all evil influences and controls from within and without -- just like Christ has always been!

You might also want to meditate on Rom 8:18-24.

Salvation of men does not begin with the Gospel. That is the end goal.

For, Titus 2:11 tells us the following....

"For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men."

God draws all men. Not all men accept.
God is not going to have someone sent to those whom reject Him.
But, all who reject were drawn by grace, of which they refused.

“You stiff-necked people! Your hearts and ears are still uncircumcised.
You are just like your ancestors: You always resist the Holy Spirit!" Acts 7:51

God only sends missionaries to where someone has been positive to His drawing....
Not all missionaries are led of the Spirit, and under legalism, will go where God sent no one.

No one is going to the Lake of Fire who is positive to the drawing of God...

grace and peace .........

I know, I know, God has His "elect" so they are the ones who get to hear the Gospel even if God has to come down from heaven!! ;):)

Where is that easy button when you need it?
Found it.

What about those who die before hearing? Even the phrase "witness to all the nations" qualifies the term "world"; for the text doesn't say that the gospel will be a witness to each and every person in each and every nation. Therefore, we should understand "world" as be used in the limited sense.

Sure, I believe the whole Bible, but your last statement is false. Lots of people have been born, lived, and died and never heard the Gospel, the name Jesus, or God. How did God love those people?

So, grace is now love. Just another fancy way to not answer the question. How did God love the people who I spoke concerning?
