Did the Lord want the nations to hear what He told Israel?

When the Lord told us we do not need to obey the physical commands we say are Jewish only, I think the Lord tells mankind they do not need to obey those commands, it was only that only Israel had listened to Him.

When Constantine came along, he made the ruling that if the Jews to it, we must not do it according to some of his letters that have been preserved. I don't think that is of God, for the Jews believe in the forgiveness of sin, and in the grace of the Lord. If it was true we are to judge what we do by looking at what the Jews do, we would be saying not to listen to grace and prayer.

God changed Jacob's name to be no more called Jacob, but to be called Israel.Gen 28:33. Not all Israel is of Israel, Rom 9:6. Jacob/Israel is representative of God's elect, Rom 9:11. Jacob/Israel includes every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation, Rev 5:9.

That is what so many of todays Christians are saying, and I don't think that was a requirement the Lord gave mankind at all. There is no scripture that backs this, I think it is an error conclusion.

If we weren't to hear anything the Lord told Israel, if it was something that applied ONLY to Israel, then the Lord would not have given us His word with these words included. Israel would have a separate bible.

Jesus instructed his apostles to go and preach to the lost sheep (Regenerated children of God) of the house of Israel. this Israel is Jacob, as God changed his name to be called Israel, Gen 28:33. Not all Israel is of Israel Rom 9:6.

God's inspired words are written to his elect (Jacob whose name was changed to be called Israel Gen 28:33) as to how he wants them to live there ilves as they sojourn here in this world.

Oh really?
Colossians 1:23 (KJV) If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Funny thing is that Paul continued preaching after he wrote Colossians. 2Timothy may have been his last letter.

The word fulfilled is used often in scripture. To most Christians it means that something has been made fully useful to man, like Christ fulfilled the sacrificial system so that our sins can be fully forgiven and we can have eternal life instead of only sleep that the sacrificial system gave. Others believe that when scripture tells us something in fulfilled it means it is no longer useful or needed. I don't believe scripture uses fulfilled in this last sense.
