Anyhow silas,

What or who is the son of God? an angel? a human? a god? a force?
As you say Phil if we deny what Christ said about himself can we be a Christian(your own words)

So also, can we deny who Christ says the Father is and be a Christian(in your opinion, just to be consistent)

Can you not even answer the simplest of questions Phil. How come all you can do is deflect continually and ask the same old question that I have constantly explained has been twice answered in this thread

Please answer the above very simple question. I'd think you'd want to, it is based on what you have continually been saying

Well firstly I think I've been called three different names so far, but I understand you feel it will help you somewhat to deflect from painful questions

As to your response, as always you have no answer to the simple question

If you believe the plain words of Jesus, that the Father is the one true God, I guess you must be a oneness Pentecostal, but this is monotonous, all you do is refuse to answer the simple questions put to you, while accusing me of what you yourself continually do

I would just like you to be honest and answer the question ... All you have done is say how messed up I am, that I am wrong etc.etc etc, and play the poor me card. but you never actually come out with what you actually mean.

So all eyes are on you LBG, who and what is the Son of God? And I think everyone knows I am not a oneness Pentecostal I think your being a tad silly now.

phil , The way your behaving is appalling you and your little like my post crew, are you here to make other people hate other people, ? i see what your doing and i am sure others have to, from the 3 threads i have been involved in with you, there has not been no settlement between you and the people you have offended, (just an out right war) you have clearly offended sila42 here and others in other threads, your now jumping on to other thread, stating stuff about how people should behave, (you need to look at the plank in your own eye before you look to take the plank out of others)

The way in which you have backed sila42 and other in other threads in to a corner and wound him up here is appalling , i have been involved in many many live debates in the live chat rooms, bible study and other sites, phil42 i see many good people coming in and many good people unfortunately being corrupted and lead astray by others,
I see many good people getting there hearts filled with hatred from so called Christians,

Has this happened to you phil42 have you fallen into a world that is unforgiving like the way the people with hearts full of hatred would want you to, ? phil42 the time has come to be led by the holy spirit and forgive and apologize to the people you have offended, and for the statements you have made which you have been rebuked for, which many have tried to rebuke you for, please think about this,
I like what you have written, but the truth is Phil has backed no one into a corner, as is obvious for all to see he just ignores all the points put to him by demanding you simply answer his questions. When you do answer them once again he ignores mostly the reply for he has no answer to it, and just comes back with another question. Any unbiased person can see that is what is happeneing. I repeat, If I were a Trinitarian who believed what he did, I'd earnestly hope he'd cease discussion, because he is just showing he has no answers to the simple points put to him with his man made demands

I understand Phil, really I do, it must be hard for you, all that studying yet having to continually sidestep all the simple questions put to you. Once again, your question has been answered to others who raised no objectkions to the answer. I think it is a tad silly of you, to expect me to fall for what you want, simply to respond to questions you have to ask in desperation for you have no answers to the questions put to you. People are not stupid Phil, they will see what you are doing.

Jer 10:10 But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

Rev 15:3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

Rev 19:2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
Who is our Lord?

Who is the everlasting King of kings?

Who shall judge and who avenged the blood of servants?

Jer 42:5 Then they said to Jeremiah, The LORD be a true and faithful witness between us, if we do not even according to all things for the which the LORD thy God shall send thee to us.

Rev 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God [the Starter of God's creation];

Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Who is true?

Who is the True and Faithful Witness?

Rev 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
Who is true and holy?

Yes, i agree there is no trinity.
Jesus taught his disciples to pray: “Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.” Our heavenly Father, whose name is Jehovah, is described in the Bible as being superior to his Son. For example, Jehovah is “from everlasting to everlasting.” But the Bible says that Jesus is “the firstborn of every creature.” That Jehovah is greater than Jesus, Jesus himself taught when he said: “My Father is greater than I.” (Matthew 6:9; Psalm 90:1, 2; Colossians 1:15; John 14:28, King James Version) Yet, the Trinity doctrine holds that the Father and the Son are “equally God.”The Father’s superiority over the Son, as well as the fact that the Father is a separate person, is highlighted also in the prayers of Jesus, such as the one before his execution:“Father, if you wish, remove this cup [that is, an ignominious death] from me.Nevertheless, let, not my will, but yours take place.” (Luke 22:42) If God and Jesus are “one in essence,” as the Trinity doctrine says, how could Jesus’ will, or wish, seem different from that of his Father?—Hebrews 5:7, 8; 9:24.

Furthermore, if Jehovah and Jesus were the same, how could one of them be aware of things of which the other was not? Jesus, for instance, said regarding the time of the world’s judgment: “Concerning that day or the hour nobody knows, neither the angels in heaven nor the Son, but the Father.”—Mark 13:32.

Hi Sials all eyes are on you. I have consistently stated the same thing. you on the other hand have not said much.

So we are all waiting LBG, who and what is the son of God that we should put our faith in him?

I want to thank you Phil, I really mean that. Here we have someone who understands the Greek, and believes they have learned much of the word through great studying, and yet, you remain silent when the simplest of questions are put to you, you simply have to continually ask questions due to your inability to answer. You constantly asked if a person who denied who Christ said he was could be a Christian, I answered it, and in relation to it asked you the following, and what a surprise, once again you had no answer, just sidestepped it by continuing to ask questions of your own. Phil, if you can;'t respond, you lost the argument

So respond now Phil, it was your question after all
As you say Phil if we deny what Christ said about himself can we be a Christian(your own words)

So also, can we deny who Christ says the Father is and be a Christian(in your opinion, just to be consistent)

Once again no answer.

As Jesus said, to the Pharisees
I'll ask you a question, then I'll answer yours

They didn't reply to the question, so Jesus said
Then I won't answer your question either(though as others are aware I have twice answered it already)

Hi LBG,

Yes but you have to remember you are no Jesus... wich brings us back to the question..?

For some reason you say I am messed up and wrong..yet you are unwilling to correct me and tell me who and what is the son of god..

so far you have said very little and allcan see it.

you have said Jesus is the son of god and you have said he is not as great as the father.

All that I would like you to answer and for all those reading, who and what is the son of god.. what does that mean..

I think its a case that you do not want to show your cards,,thats more the case LBG

You can see here from Phil's refusal to answer the simplest of questions, why the ordained ministers will not plainly state his demands from the pulpit, though I do believe many minsters have the spiritual discernment not to make this a salvational issue, for they are guided by the Holy Spirit
As I am glad to note are the vast majority of Trinitarians

I have not made any demands.. I have stated a truth.. you cannot proclaim to be a Christian and deny who Jesus says he is.

If you are a Christian you will not deny who Jesus is.

My question to you is who and what is the son of god..is he an angel, a force, a human ?

LBG, tell us why you don't want to answer that?

I have told you many times, you must learn to answer questions put to you, rather than ignore them because you cannot answer them. Then your questions would be answered, that's debate Phil.

And I will stress yet again, I have twice answered the question

As you say Phil if we deny what Christ said about himself can we be a Christian(your own words)

So also, can we deny who Christ says the Father is and be a Christian(in your opinion, just to be consistent)

Where?

No answer, yet again

And I am sure, all realise that question, which along with all the others you refuse to answer, was in direct response to you continually asking me if a person can be a Christian and deny who Jesus said he was

You see Phil, you ask questions, and insist they are answered, believing they will prove you correct, then you get a response you obviously cannot reply to, so what do you do? Well I think we all know the answer to that by now don't we

It was a simple answer to a simple question LBG.

I believe what the father says about the son and what the son says about the father, and what they say about the Holy Spirit...it is the truth of a Triune God..

Don't you believe in the triune God?
