Jas 4:6-10

6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
KJV
Now if you can just live it then you can boast about it.

I am going to say something very profound and unknown to ALL of you.

...

but to point out to you for the sake of my own pleasure
...
your place in the order of things.

If any of you on all the earth
had any knowledge and understanding of the spirit realm and it's laws.

.... That is why none of you know anything about it.

I will still treat you as I would want you to treat me.
Oh, so then you WANT us to point out your arrogance and claim your total ignorance. OK consider it done!

God and his children do not consider telling the truth to be arrogance.
However the devil and his children do.

Telling the truth is not arrogant. CLAIMING YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WITH THE TRUTH most certainly is.

Sorry Blain, didn't mean to derail your thread. But people who claim to know it all infallibly, and claim to know that others don't, seems to be a pet peeve these days.

If you and I were standing before God... I certainly wouldn't be taking the moral high ground to question you. I'd just be glad that we were both there.
God see's you now doing what you are doing and posting on here the words you type out and post. He also see's your behavior right now. So how come you act different here than you would before Him?

I certainly do not believe this you have said about me is true.
Do you believe God believes this is true what you have said about me?
what you believe may not be the truth. I can believe that I am a saint that I am perfect in every way that I am higher than God himself but does that belief about myself make it true? I believe what I said because I compared your words and attitude to God's heart

Oh its fine it's more important to teach one the error of their ways and have help them follow the path of love and godliness than to debate something I am pondering about

Thank you for the honor. Comparing my heart to God's heart is an honor. A great honor. Of course I do not expect to win.

Because you are error here and there is time to hopefully change that. Once we're before God it's a done deal.

Then it should be very easy for you to prove otherwise. We are waiting.
Ya didn't see it the first time, I doubt you're going to see it now, but for the sake of establishing a witness here it is again:

I am going to say something very profound and unknown to ALL of you.

but to point out to you for the sake of my own pleasure

your place in the order of things.

If any of you on all the earth had any knowledge and understanding of the spirit realm and it's laws.

none of you know anything about it.

Oh by all means tell us one?

I am most certain God would quickly dismiss you.

Try to understand this: I'm not necessarily arguing your theology, I'm arguing your attitude. Holier than thou never is.

And now I will dismiss you - ignore!

Just something I was pondering on my walk today. The spiritual realm vs the physical realm, there are laws and physics here that control how we do things and how things in this world works, Gravity is one example here we cannot fly and things are bound to the ground by gravity for the most part but in the spiritual realm it could be completely different. in this world a castle in on the ground but in the spiritual realm it could be a floating castle with no real logic as to how it floats.
You know, before we fell the spiritual world was the physical world. Science tells us that 90% of what makes up the universe we can't see or detect. God says He wants His 10% back. I imagine the new earth will be much like this one, only 90% bigger and better. How that will work out in terms of floating castles I don't know, but I do know that I can't wait to be there. We won't be playing harps in the clouds, I'll tell you that!

But to be more specific I was pondering the laws of the spiritual realm with God. For instance I was told long ago how dangerous it is to challenge satan and honestly with how much he tells me how I am not good enough or strong enough I often times tend to back talk to him mostly how i am stronger than he says I am or something however sometimes I fear I go to far because I really tend to get angry at him and while I don't openly challenge him sometimes my words tend to appear that way to me. It made me wonder about the spiritual laws like what opens one door and closes another what allows satan or his minions to be able to attack you and then I in all of this I asked myself wait i don't get it am I supposed to be afraid of him or not?
Do not fear him, do not respect him; but know and watch for him. You know his snares so watch for them too, when he trips you up rebuke him. Anger might be right in some situations, but remember that anger colors our vision. I wouldn't openly challenge him, but keep in mind that he likes and creates them anyway. And those doors you talked about, without going into a whole other subject be aware that satan and his ilk can 'transport' thru time. One lesson God gave me about this was with porn, if you fall to let's say a video it gives that demon not only the right to afflict you, but the authority to go back in time and tempt the participants into doing it. When you submit to a spiritual authority, you're submitted to a spiritual authority. Until you confess, repent, and rebuke it.

Still discussing the laws and the way the spiritual realm is seemed like a very interesting thread and certainly better than another heated debate over a subject that been discussed over and over and if you go the bdf often you know the subjects I speak of as there are many
I know what you speak of :) I find it hard to participate much anymore, it seems all the arguments have been made ad nauseum and my repeating them a jillionth time isn't going to make a difference. That's why you see me more these days touching on things that aren't just the standard boilerplate. Like mr miracle here. ;)

Is it a sin to be Holier than you?

God told me it would be a blessing. Is He telling me the truth? Or was that the devil that told me that?

If you believe what I have said is to be incorrect
and that there are others of flesh and blood upon the face of the whole earth
that knows more about the Spirit realm than I...then go get them.

Let us see it.

I will be right here.

What do you want to know about the Spiritual?

Miracles happen at the intersection of Reason and Faith. The more Faith you have, the more God becomes your Reason.

Love is a two way street. The more and harder you do things for God, the more gifts and Spirit you may receive. He controls the his Spirit like a Radio Dial. If you want it turned up on high....be careful what you ask for, and I hope you are ready for it. (James 1:2-4)

God can set up miracles. Sometimes people just need to learn to listen to the Spirit and walk into them. I can tell you a lot about the Spiritual Realm, but some people on this Forum seem to be weirdos honestly. I have discovered a lot through God's Word and Instruction through Jesus Christ and his Spirit in a Cause and Effect way. It just depends on what you want to know and why. It may be better that you figure it out yourself if God needs you to know to further his Kingdom.
