That doesn't make any sense ...do you want to be a Child or GOD or not?
Becoming a Child of God is by birth. A direct Spiritual creation by God. NOT by something I do or don't do.
Sinless perfectionism is a tool of satan's to discourage the Children of God when they stumble.
Even Peter is recorded as sinning after Jesus' resurrection and Peter's rebirth.
DON'T hear what I'm NOT saying. I am NOT saying sin, in any for is ok.
Sin is disgusting, abhorrent, and should NEVER be looked at or thought of as ok.
We should fix our eyes on Jesus, His Grace toward us, and our mission. Unfortunately, we still inhabit our dead flesh. And that dead flesh constantly tries to convince us that it is still alive. The devil, and the world, also assault us daily.
We will NOT be sinless until we inhabit our new, glorified body.
So in essence, we are not sinless after our Spiritual birth, but we should sin less, as the Holy Spirit transform, and Sanctifies us into the image and likeness of Jesus Christ.
