PML Cako!!!!!!!!

No Tears Shed - i was just wondering what othe rpeople thought - seeing if anyone shared the same opinion as me

Sorry if i quoted you i meant to quote maddog
or the person who said

"If God wanted you with filed nails I'm sure He would have made you that way.

Works for everything, you said."

As for cako, eww i knew people in this world existed with long nails since i seen something about it on TV years ago.
No comment for that picture.
A little creppy O_O & dint expect to see that since this topic was referring to hair dying ._. & not huge nails T_T

Your right it is destroying God creation
I dont wear make up
Have Peircings
Or have Tattoos
You obviously didn't read my whole post. That was a sarcasm remark. I don't believe it's detroying God's creation. I believe that excessively drinking, eating unhealthy, etc. etc. is destroying God's creation.

Why are yall even putting such meaning into things you arnt even certain of?

Maybe he is okay with us cutting our nails since if we let them grow they chip NATURALLY?

You dont know for sure if he wants us to let them grow or be cutted, Instead of worrying about hair dying & nail cutting we should be more worried about trying to walk his way the ones he says in the bible like for example not cursing, not lying, not sleeping around, speaking & praying with God, Teaching our children about God & going to church a good church were they talk about our experiences with God & getting closer to him =)
I am quite confident that God has no problem with nail cutting. Or dyed hair. Or tattoos. Or make up.

That was my point.

Someone probably has already said this, but isn’t gray hair a sign of dignity?

You shall rise up before the hoary head, and honor the face of an old man, and you shall fear your God: I am the LORD Leviticus 19:32 RSV

Oh okay, Same here EXCEPT for the tattoos, I have a feeling they are not good. Since its putting someting in our body permanatly without it being able to be removed (not even lazer removal can remove it all)
But make up is removable, nail cutting well they grow back, & dying hair comes off in a couple of weeks - months OR if its permanat it comes off when your hair regrows & you cut it.
But tattos no way to get rid of it.

I second that - my dad and mum have grey hair - and one of my brothers (18) is starting to get some :S

Aye I see what you're saying. But to me that sounds more simply a practical concern about the permanancey of tattoos, rather than evidence that God disapproves.

I agree with Mad dog on this. I don't see why tattoos are considered bad if they are given glory to God. You know?

well the permancy is not what im worried about, i honestly would not mind having my name tattood on me for the rest of my life, but its the whole it being ink in your skin something that God dint put there in the first place, that you wont be able to remove, especially since it says that we will have to get the 6 on us when the anti christ walks the earth, i want nothing to do with that & i DONT want to anger God. Another reason i dont think tattoos are good is due to the fact that at first it was used as something bad like making markings of signs for something like the dead or something bad. then when we came into the 20th century it became used as in something teenagers now use as "cool" or something. Example they use them as to get the name of a person that past away, a picture of something you like, a hood number, state name, state & city name, or names of someone special to you including yourself.

You might not, but i still do,
You can say the same for making idols, of his son jesus christ when he was on the cross, putting that on your wall & praying to it which is not good since he is not there, it was made with tools & hands of a human & NOT by the measurements God told you to use & items he told you to use.You might say its to give glory to him for him dying for our sins, but to him its not good in his eyes, Its not what is good in our eyes but what is good in his eyes, so for me getting a tattoo something that i wont be able to take away, erase, or remove is something i dont want to do since what if he dont like them? I wont be able to remove it.
Plus i made a promise i wont get a tattoo to him (i think i made it to be sure i dint get a tattoo ... i dont really remember but thats the only reason that pops into my head right now) & when you make a promise to God you have to keep it. =)

& how are getting tattoos giving glory to God?
Instead why not go out & spread the word & gospel of God? Why not try & help homeless across the world or near you & tell them about God, buy them a bible. Thats a WAY better way to give glory to him & for a fact you will know a long with everyone else will know that that is something good in his eyes =D

I don't see how idols relate to anything that I was saying. I never said getting a tattoo is giving glory to God, I said the tattoo itself could be giving glory to God. For instance, having a tattoo of the cross, or like the one I want to get, I want to get Jesus in Hebrew on my arm, something like that. you know?

The idol thing was a example... ._.

Only God knows What is giving glory to him that does not include what is written in the bible...
But i get what you mean that you want to get his name in hebrew that you want to show people you believe in him & you are not ashamed =D

Still not something i will do since i made the promise & since i feel its not right ( the whole getting tattoos thing).
