Todd Bentley is not the issue. Christ is the issue and people are lost and they need to hear the gospel. Go preach the gospel and get occupied with what God has called you to do. Go preach Christ and Him crucified. Go and make disciples and teach them the word. Go and minister the grace of God's salvation and keep doing it the rest of your life and never quit and never give up. Thank God for every pastor and believer that preaches the gospel, pray for them and obey what they teach and stop examining everything they preach all the time just because you don't like how it effects your flesh. We are to walk by faith in the love and grace of God and if we don't, we are unbiblical. Do you agree to that?

(Ephesians 5:11) Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.
After you have defined and identified these unfruitful works of darkness, I suppose that you could spend the rest of life exposing them and joining the Walter Martian team and those of his ilk and never spend that time honoring Christ and the commission He has given us, preaching the gospel in all the world, training up disciples, laying your life down and edifying and building up the body of Christ. What fruit would you have unto God if you could expose all those works of darkness, over and over, and never reveal the death, burial ad resurrection of Christ. Isn't your time better spent redeeming instead of exposing. Believers get tired of your rhetoric of always expose, expose, expose, and there's just no life in it. It makes believers weary just having to read it on this site. There is a time for that in certain situations and with certain individuals, but its the exception and not the rule. The gospel of Christ to those who are lost and the preaching of the word and doctrine and edifying the body of Christ is the rule and the practice of the believer.

Yes he did repent however, he later married the woman that he was caught in adultery with. According to scripture Bentley's wife had biblical grounds for divorce. Bentley himself did not.

OK...it's the matter of did he repent or not what counts. He could repent of lusting after another woman right? David had a man murdered so he could have sex with his wife and he rented. I know God doesn't want people to divorce for nothing. But people do divorce.

sure if you want, but show me a charismatic who doesnt flop around like an epileptic and 'claim' he is 'slain in the spirit' or one that doesnt babble nonsense and 'claim' its 'speaking in tongues'. The minute charismatics stop making a mockery of things, ill stop saying the are all crazy. Though whats the difference in judging one person vs. one denomination? Pretty ironic I get called out on judging by the poster who said Bentley was and i quote "a hyper spiritual heretic." Not that I know or care who bentley is, he sounds like all the rest of that lot.

speaking in tongues<<<<<this is in the bible. You need to learn the bible and not some teaching from some human.

WOW you are quite determined that prophets are alive and preaching today aren't you Linda.
Seriously GIVE ME EXAMPLES!
JUST ONE!
Being endowed with the Holy Spirit does not make you a prophet. Very fortunate perhaps but the gift of prophecy was sealed up after the apostle John was given his vision of the end times in the LAST book of the bible.
So far as your pearls are concerned keep them I would sooner be swine in heaven than the wealthiest man in the world!

SELAH

You heard that lie from what ever church. Your just like the people who were trying to stop the Christians back in the book of Acts and like the ones who murdered Jesus. You need to read the bible. Stop depending on others for your teachings. Do your own research. You all think all of God is dead and when you need healing you call on God to heal then wonder why it doesn't come. You can stay in your false teachings as long as you like. Jesus came to open blind eyes but you can stay blind as long as you like. You people call everything about God a lie. You twist the word of God to make it say what ever you want. You are the Pharisees of this age no different than years past. We are warned of you people. You are the false prophets saying you speak for God and you don't even know God or his word. You don't even now what pearl means and have the nerve to be on here trying to teach your lies from hell.

you don't have any.
If you would believe in God and his word you would know them your self. All you do is repent. You don't know any of the people I know any way.

I do plenty of other stuff Redman.

Question is...

Why are you not heeding this instruction?

(Ephesians 5:11) Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.

I never see you expose darkness. Why?

Do you all agree that Todd Bentley is unbiblical? healing people through violence just doesn't match up with the Bible.
Bentley's Holy Laughter - YouTube
Todd Bentley hits old woman - YouTube
I'm sure there are alot more of videos like this
I don't know anything about Todd Bentley, but I wouldn't be too quick to judge ANYBODY.

Smith Wigglesworth was one of God's greatest healing evangelists ever (world-wide),
and he punched people in the stomach occasionally (because the Spirit told him to).
Oh, almost forget ... and the people were healed of whatever was ailing them.

A christian medical doctor followed wigglesworth to legally document healings. He was disappointed
to record none but a few emotional and psychological healings that returned, and the report of terminal
disease in Smiths immediate family.
