Yes because this call is important that is all I have to say on the matter.
Sorry, I'm not looking for a psychic advisor. You should advertise; probably get more business that way.

"That which is COMPLETE" is a reference to the Bible. Some translations even make this clear.

New International Version
but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears.
International Standard Version
But when what is complete comes, then what is incomplete will be done away with.
GOD'S WORD® Translation
But when what is complete comes, then what is incomplete will no longer be used
World English Bible
but when that which is complete has come, then that which is partial will be done away with.
The entire, do you understand what entire means?

Look it up!

Get Familiar with the Term and DEFINITION!

The entire chapter 13 is 100% about The Love of God. Nowhere is there any reference to a Bible anywhere in chapter 13.

And you just randomly select Bible?

That has the marking of a Complete False Doctrine to it!

I just wanted to say maybe the verson of God's word isn't as important as understandding what his word is saying to begin with.

This isn't done by text and ink it is done by the spirit

You think cessasionists are as Blind as the Jews are towards Jesus as their Messiah?

Is this connection to about the fact many Cessasionists also believe they've Replaced the Jews in Replacement Theology?

I understood completely what you said. People can only glean what is being said once they rid themselves of all views for either side.

For years, I quoted my Grandpa and Dad from the many common things they had a habit of saying.
One day I was quoting one of them and heard the Holy Spirit say, don't you want to see this from God's viewpoint?

After that, all traditions, all connections to my past southern Baptist and Pentecostal upbringing, everything, just dumped it and began looking at the Bible from God's viewpoint.

Until you empty yourself out of any connections to familiar Doctrines, the Bible will always read only One Way.

Not God's Way!

Why do you attack me when all I have done is share my story?
Does it make you feel superior?
This is one of the reasons I am not here that often, unloving posts.

I am not attacking, and what do you think you did to those who disagree with you? Give a valid Biblical argument for the gifts not being today.

You said :

I left the Movement in disgust as the Leadership that was corrupt.
In my re-evaluating my experience I learnt this from the Bible.

1. Speaking in tongues in the New Testament times were human languages.
2. They were edification in a Church meeting setting only. No private tongues.
3. Not every believer spoke in tongues. 1 Cor 12:30.
4. Tongues ceased fairly early on in the first century. No mention of them
in the later books of the New Testament.

From my findings, I renounced my 'tongue's as false and have not looked back since.

Most of what you say you have not provided biblical proof for your experience.

Do you realize that there have been many times God was silent and did not speak to His people, recorded in the Old Testament? If you study, you will see over and over again where God was silent for generations, then he spoke. In Fact, the Holy Spirit was not with everyone. Only selected men: Kings, prophets, judges, and priests. Guess what? The Out Pouring of the Holy Spirit did not stop after the Apostolic age of the church. The empowering of the Holy Spirit was greatly demolished when Church Government was created.

The church battled the reintroduction of Gnosticism that Paul fought so well after John Died. They came back on the scene
, and the church combated it by establishing the written words of the Apostles and not just Oral traditions.

"The Gnostics had their own Scriptures that rivaled the canonical books. It was important that their false doctrine did not infiltrate the church. Therefore, it had to be made clear which books were from the Apostles and which were not." ( DON STEWART )"

Montanism

This, too, was a problem with its false claim of Divine revelation. The church was being groomed to rely on men of God to teach them the word of God over men and women seeking God and studying for themselves. The Holy Spirit was needed greatly but the human intellect was an issue with those in Rome established from the Greeks, and persecution by Rome. The Church was battling on two fronts false doctrine and persecution, then the imperial church age which made the "Church" a state religion. Opening the door to paganism.

Do you think at that time, they were more in line with the Holy Spirit? The Move of the Spirit seems to be all non-existent. BUT God raised up men at different times by the Holy Spirit who visited and poured out HIS Spirit.

Do you think that was not seen by those then as not for today ?

Many of the church fathers of the Reformation documented speaking in tongues. And the list is quiet distinguished.

But because you have seen corruption, we should just come to the understanding that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are no more instead of seeking why there was what seemed to be no movement of the Spirit and the cause for it.

Yes this is true but the par I was talking about how we see it his way afterwards we do it by the spirit. any understanding we get by the spirit is done done by knowing how to listen with the spirit. He leads us to all truths leads that means when we read the bible though many are reading a text that leading is not about what we think he is saying there is no interpretation needed it is a revelation every time.

So if the spirit is the one who leads who gives us what the meaning is and if he leads us to all truths then knowing he is spirit if we don't listen with our spirits how can we hear what is spoken in spirit?

But if we know how to tune in to his spirit and listen to him with ours why would any version of the written word be an issue?

thank God for Discernment!!

when i was not trying to live for God, i called my instincts/hunches/feelings my 7th sense. relating to self defense training.
but that has no part in understanding the Word of God, even though, that was Discerning.

but with the Word of God, you are Discerning each word, phrase, structure, sentence, paragraph beyond numbers and chapters.
being able to read the Bible and have God Bless you with the ability to Discern the Scriptures as the words imprint your eyes, enter your brain, process, understand the intent by God here.

I use to get lost in how the Writer wrote. Their style would confuse me and some times their explanations were pitiful. through Discernment, you don't look at the style of the human who wrote it, but the Spirit's Intent, when God guided them.

Hmm...seems to me that "faith" without evidence is not faith it is delusion.
That's the message James wa teaching: if what you CALL FAITH produces of it's intrinsic nature NOTHING in terms of "Good Works", then it's "Dead faith" = not FAITH AT ALL. In order to BE BIBLICAL FAITH it has to meet the criteria in Heb 11:1.

A more pertinent question is this "Did anyone said to be 'filled with the Holy Spirit' in Scripture speak in tongues -- other than on the day of Pentecost?"
Acts 19 for one, and how about the Church at Corinth.

yes discerning the spirit. I have studied I have prayed I done all the reaserch but there was always some kind of inconsistancy some kind of flaw that can be used to contradict this isn't what I saw when Jesus spoke the word of God this is the truth that is called infalible I only saw this so called truth divide and confuse everyone.

Are we that blind? is the fruits of the devil that hard to see?
So this is when I was done the method we asre using isn't working we build up all this knowledge of scripture and for what, this?

The language of the Irish seems poplar amongst the gibberish, they have God as a dog.

But that's because there back to front

There are actually normal Irish people to.

The Hebrew text does look a bit upside down tho ☺️

Augustine, Bishop of Hippo (northern Africa), one of the four great fathers of the Latin Church and considered the greatest of them all said: “We still do what the apostles did when they laid hands on the Samaritans and called down the Holy Spirit on them in the laying-on of hands. It is expected that converts should speak with new tongues
^
this is a true Gem and Pure Solid Gold Nugget.

a Church Father telling us, some 300 YEARS [[AFTER]] all Scripture was WRITTEN, they are STILL "We still do what the apostles did when they laid hands on the Samaritans and called down the Holy Spirit on them in the laying-on of hands" while EXPECTING this, It is expected that converts should speak with new tongues!

i wonder, which Vessel, did the Demons enter into to create a Doctrine to Stop this from Continuing?
