There is a Crown of Gold and a mansion that are our rewards in Heaven.

You cannot claim to "disagree" on a teaching that is not in the Scriptures and is not from God.

Either it is from God and therefore a True teaching or it is from the Catholic Church and is a false teaching.

The teaching of Mary interceding for us is not in the Bible.

The teaching of Mary interceding for us is a tradition of the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church made up this teaching so they could include praying to Mary.

What you need to understand mwc68 is you are taking your eyes off of God and looking to Mary for help. Mary is not a deity, Mary is not God and Mary is not a God. Mary was a mere human born in sin like the rest of us. She has no special powers nor any abilities like what God has.

You are being deceived by the Catholic Church.

So who are you following as your God? Jesus Christ or Mary? You cannot serve two Masters, and you cannot serve two Gods.

Are you willing to risk your Rewards in Heaven just to follow Mary?

Matthew 16:27
[SUP]27 [/SUP] For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.

Colossians 2:18
[SUP]18 [/SUP] Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

We will receive a Reward for what we have done. If we do not do what God wants we will receive no Reward for it.

Asking Mary to intercede for you will give you no Rewards in Heaven.
First of all I have NEVER said nor believe that Mary is a God, so you are consistently wrong on that one. Interesting how you mention works in your second to last paragraph. I thought you just prayed a sinner's prayer, shake the preachers. hand, have people gibber over you,and that's it, your part is over

mwc68. My first sentence was that the Catholic Church teaches false doctrines. I assume from your reply that you are either a
Catholic yourself or have a very limited knowledge of the Gospel.

At least Mary is a human

Mary is not a deity and Mary is not a God. Mary was a mere human born in sin like the rest of us. She has no special powers nor any abilities like what God has.
True

... Mary is not God
God became poor that we might become rich.
Christ became sin that we might become the righteousness of God in Him
God became flesh that His flesh would become God.
God became man that man may become God

And imo several of your doctrines are false. I have and do read the Gospels and have issues with things yall do that are unbiblical while pointing fingers at the Catholic Church

I've been to a pentacostal "church". Its gibberish
Now you refer to speaking in tongues, and call it gibberish? Interesting. Speaking in tongues is a spiritual gift. Is that how you view spiritual gifts? They are Scriptural.

Tongue is just another word for language. How would you distinguish a true speaking in tongues from "fake"?

Very easy, on the day of Pentacost the bystanders heard the Apostles in their own language and dialect. Paul wrote that if another language is used, there must be an interpreter. I neither saw nor heard an interpreter and I looked hard for this because I wanted to know what God was saying. Instead it was mindless gibberish that is more psychological than anything

He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.

Are you familiar with that Scripture written by Paul?

Yes and that doesn't apply to public tongues

You read something into Scripture that is not stated. What Paul does say is,

For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.

And,

I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than the one who speaks in tongues, unless someone interprets, so that the church may be edified.

1 Cor 14:26-28. This says you must have an interpreter in the congregation or be silent. Like I said before, a lot of gibbering and zero interpreting

If it doesn't match the way languages work

Yes you did say it was false mwc68.

You claim to read the Gospel yet you reject where God says ALL have sinned, and all applies to Mary, but yet you teach Mary was without sin!

Saying Mary was without sin is unbiblical mwc68.

There are thousands of teachings in the Catholic Church that is not from God. The Catholic Church has put itself above the Scriptures.

Tongues in the congregation are forbidden unless there is an interpreter. 1 Cor 14:26-28. Not my word, God's word. So before you go pointing fingers, you have some housecleaning to do!
