Nice sidetrack friend. The choice is try to keep all 613 laws of torah which leads to death or walk in the Holy Spirit.
Also, adding the virtues of II Peter 1 helps.
If one takes the time to study and understand the Jewish 613, you would know that Jesus was not a farmer, not a woman, and not an earthly priest. Why do the ignorant think that there are 613 laws one single person must keep.
The covenant given at Mount Sinai/the marriage contract...the people did not keep, so the LORD in His wisdom, renewed the covenant by giving us a Helper. We are saved by grace, and then comes FRUIT. How do you present yourself as a BRIDE to the LORD? unblemished. Righteous. Wearing white garment. So there is no more sacrifice after Jesus. If you continue to sin, then you are not showing love to God and Jesus by keeping the instructions/laws/commandments, etc. etc. You are missing huge hunks of the full picture when you believe the lie that the law was done away with because Paul talks about the ORAL LAWS that were added to the LORD's commandments. That is why Paul says we are not under the law meaning those oral laws we are not under. Jesus was the perfect Rabbi/teacher/master because He taught the scriptures in practical ways that do not violate and nullify the Torah/instructions/manual/laws/commandments/etc. etc. Jesus wanted us to know that the Torah is not a buden or grievous. They sent us the Holy Spirit to guide us and fill us with the peace that passes all understanding.
1Jn 5:1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
1Jn 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and
keep his commandments.
1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we
keep his commandments: and
his commandments are not grievous.
Mat_22:37 Jesus said unto him,
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mar_12:30
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
Luk_10:27 And he answering said,
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
And where did Jesus quote from?
Deu_6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
Deu_10:12 And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,
Deu_11:13 And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,
Deu_13:3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
Deu_30:6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
Of the Ten Commandments, the first four are how God asks us to love Him. The following six commandments are how God instructs us to love others. You can take the 613 and put them each into one of the ten commandments.
So what about the least of the commandments?
Deu 22:6 If a bird's nest chance to be before thee in the way in any tree, or on the ground, whether they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young:
Deu 22:7 But thou shalt in any wise let the dam go, and take the young to thee; that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days.
Mat_5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
