I support the women pastors , women have always been important to God and they understand a side of the father for example the woman with the issue she pushed the limits and touched his feet , the woman with the possed daughter she got a blessing before time . In my opinion, there are many things troubling the world (& Christian society), I highly doubt a female pastor is going to send the congregation to Hell.

I'd rather have a strong, level-headed, God serving female as my pastor than a so-so, ineffectual male.

But it's how the Word is received and preached that's important, not the sex of the speaker.
you are ignoring what the scripture says; and use your own logic.

♥~ Galatians 3:28 - "...neither male nor female...for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."

♥~ Moses said in Numbers 11:29, "Would God that all the Lord's people were prophets, and that the Lord would put His spirit upon them!"

♥~ Joel 2:28 (King James Version)

28And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions

♥~ Acts 2:17-18 (King James Version)

17And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

♥~ 2 Kings 22:14. Five men went to Sister Huldah and communed with her. She spoke to a congregation of men concerning the book of the Law. A female preached to a man's congregation, and her message was taken to the nation and produced a revival.

When someone says, "God does not call women to preach," it is like saying that God does not baptize with the Holy Spirit today. We know better, because we have witnessed and experienced it with our own ears and eyes.
I would be afraid to condemn women preachers, lest I would be found to be fighting against God, and to be committing the vile sin of attributing the works of the Holy Spirit to the devil.

I pulled all this information of an article I read concerning women preachers! Here is the web site if you'd like to read the whole thing! women pastors

~♥~Jillian~♥~

the church of God is pictured as his woman; can his woman be above God? everything has to be in order in Gods eyes, the woman can not be above the man, because the woman was made for the man.God created adam first; this world has turned things up side down.
the women rebelled, they want to be equal; signs of the times; women against men, children against parents, against authority, proud ,boaster, highminded, selfish, worshipping the creature rather than worshipping the creator.it seems unfair does it? is it?
can you protest and marched against God? you can try.

After reading some wonderful posts that have been a blessing to me from spirit filled women on this website, I am becoming swayed that female Pastors would be cool:)

How did I miss this thread? Wow! 14 pages, 267 posts...... oops, 268.
Now for the serious part. It is a total shame that some folks will believe what they've been told for so long that every time they read something, they interpret it based on what they've been told. This is why the Scripture says:

2 Timothy 2:15 [SUP]Nasb [/SUP]Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.
This Scripture does not mean believing all your favorite teachers and theologies blindly. We should not believe anything said or written unless we "search the Scriptures daily, to see if these things are so."
Some people are so bad that they will take Scripture out of context and spin it according to what they've been taught, even though they themselves preach loudly, "context context context!" If it wasn't for that Scripture in Timothy about a woman usurping authority over her husband, there would be a lot of silent people on this thread with nothing to say! Shame on those who do this and cry " context, context, context!" If you know what context means, you should definitely know better.

The entirety of scripture is the answer...unfortunately we lean I'm the new testament mainly for answers disregarding the Torah and it's instructions...this book of the law, yes I said the L word, should not depart from us...the "old" testament shows us the genealogies, the leaders the heads of nations, commitcried and families,...these were MEN...women were used and always will be...this question the type writer has asked...is also the root of rebellion I'm the home...in answering yes, that women can lead churches another question arises,....why then can't they head a home...if we outdate the scriptures and follow the times and decisions of society and mix them I'm the church....truth then becomes relative...and Yahweh himself is then questioned in his commands as he was I'm the garden....why can't I eat this fruit?...now the question is...why can't a women lead!?....because Yahweh said so...

What dose the The Heavenly Father's Holy Spirit have to say about it ? The Holy Spirit was speaking through Peter and the eleven mind you. This is what was said :

Acts 2: [16] But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

[17] And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God,I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your" daughters shall prophesy," and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

[18] And on my servants and on my"" handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:""

[19] And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

[20] The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

[21] And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

When something dose not add up, it means we have failed to understand the scriptures or check out what some one has taught us.
Let God's word in His totality speak. Don't forget these scriptures. Don't hold onto the traditions of men.

1 Corinthians 11 :

9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

Women where created, so that men, could be born, into the world.

10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.

12 For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.

Matthew 7 :

[15] Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

[16] Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

[17] Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

[18] A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

[19] Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

[20] Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

[21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

[22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

[23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

[24] Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

[25] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

[26] And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

[27] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

[28] And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

[29] For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

I think we need to understand prophesying does not qualify one to be a leader or head...it's a gift, a calling. And is not indicating that one is to lead a congregation or be head of a home.

[11] Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
[12] But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
[13] For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
[14] And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

Do you know something? The minute that blood sacrifice was accepted Jesus was the first human being that was ever born again. Now that was real it happened when he was in hell.

I don't agree in general with the idea of female pastors but there are a few that are doing great things for God's Kingdom. So there are some exceptions, but as a rule, I don't think they should.

I believe if a woman is appointed pastor God suffered a woman over a man

God suffered a woman over a man? What's that even mean? No KJV English please.

Ricky ticky I mean God allowed it he appointed the woman in other words because there was a woman better more equal man.

Have you seen in the forums how many women post on here debating and teaching men their doctrine? It amazes me at the hypocrisy of 'some' in the forums who will fight tooth and toenail to keep women under subjection and away from leadership and then allow women to fight right along the side of them against other men in theological arguments just to win their cause. That's just a double standard. Now, I ask you, should we believe those who don't follow their own standards of theology? You shouldn't, and I absolutely won't.

Green, I'm not going to disagree with you there. God can use women as pastors. Their fruits will show if they're of God or not of Him.

There is a female intern pastor at the church I have begun to attend. She is dedicated, and I believe she has stepped up because others would not, possibly out of a search for the perfect pastor and not finding one. I talked with her about some ideas I had for a bible drive, and she was supportive and encouraging. I do not view her as having power or authority over me, she is willing to listen to what all have to say and allows Christ to work through her and the church. I do not see this as being against Gods will.
