Sometimes I wonder what would Edwards, Spurgeon, Barns, Gill, Henry etc., etc., think of all this, the way things are piecemealed together to fit a political modern day narrative.

I'm not sure what those men would think about modern day Israel but I believe Spurgeon was a premillennialist so he was trying to make things physical too. It is an easy mistake to make.
