I was quoting Hebrews 1:1.
yeah and misapplying it, IMO
i do not see how it helps anyone for people to go around discouraging us from studying the scripture unless we happen to have Semitic flesh.

so i cited Romans 1 :)

Just reading it literally, not even reading into it.

but you are.
you are reading into it that '
because the audience was Jewish it is irrelevant to us and represents a completely different Savior'

Romans 1:16 utterly refutes that.

I never said it was irrelevant to us. I was addressing the question who it was written to.

uh huh. so what are you trying to imply with this:

Who were the forefathers of the gentiles believers?

Was Isaiah, Jeremiah, Hosea ever speaking to gentiles?

?

you're implying it has no bearing other than academic interest, unless you are carnally Jewish. and i know your conversation Guojing, over several years here -- i know that you believe Jesus does not preach the same gospel as Paul, and i know that you believe this book preaches a different gospel than the one preached to anyone who is not Hebrew according to the flesh.
so you, not being Semitic, consider this book to be preaching a different gospel than the one you should believe. and that is the whole reason you came here to point out that the primary audience when it was written were Jews after the flesh. you think the relevance is that this book contains a different gospel.

Romans 1:16 utterly refutes that.

If you want to get your salvation gospel from the book of Hebrews, I am fine.

yes, it is.

The following verses in Hebrews 12:26-27 where the Lord shakes the earth, causing all the things that are made to be shaken out, is in reference to the great tribulation in which many who now profess themselves as Christians will fall away. This is when family members who fall away, then turn in other family members who do not fall away, unto their deaths (Mark 13:12).

Hebrews 12:25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: 26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

Mark 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.

I happen to distinguish between Christ according to prophecy, and Christ according to the mystery (Romans 16:25)

There is only one Christ, we call his name Jesus. One and only one.

Romans 16:25&26 the mystery has been made known through the prophetic writings.
There is not a distinction made. One is the vehicle by which the other is understood.
The prophetic writings are about the mystery.

The gentile has been adopted into Abraham and inheritors along with Jesus.
There is no longer any distinction between jew and gentiles in Christ Jesus.

Romans 16 does not distinguish between two different Jesus's.
when you have two different Jesus's it's an indication that you have imagined or believed a fake one.

Hebrew came from the words in Hebrew, from across the river.

All who believe will one day cross the River Jordan. Now, to whom is Hebrews directed?

This chapter is part of a large sermon that is called the book of Hebrews. Chapter 12 is part of a persuasive speech that's comparing the old convenant with the new covenant. This writing is meant to convert practicing Jews to Christianity. I recommend reading the whole book slowly.

Whereas before if they even touched mount Zion they could be stoned in the old covenant, but under the new covenant, through faith in Christ, "WE' can celebrate on the mountain with the "verses22 -24"their names can be written in the book of life, their spirits can be made righteous and perfect in God's sight all because of Jesus who can be their mediator.
verse 22 'but ye are come..' Present tense - now - today
( I took some liberty with your post and added the bold text0

Especially to Nehemiah6, Runningman, GaryA and Lafftur,
I hope you read my words as friends and hear what I mean even though I may not use the correct words. "A friend hears what you say and understands what you mean." That plus I realize my compositional style is at best awkward.

If we look out our door , we can see 'things' happening. Cars on the street, people going about their everyday lives etc. But what is going on right now in the spiritual realm of heaven? PRAISE and lots of it. Praise from a bunch of angles,, the general assembly and the spirits of just men made perfect.. This is happening right now in both the natural and spiritual realms.

There is a difference made between praise'and high praise. We can praise right now and not reach the high praises of GOD. Most often some churches when gathered in a service can reach the high praise level. It is then that we on earth, the natural realm reach into the spiritual realm of high praise. Our praise blends with the saints who now stand before GOD. It is then that GOD comes down to us ("The LORD inhabits the praises of HIS people). It is then we fellowship on a higher level - above the natural.

At this time, while in high praise, we praise in faith. They (redeemed men now in heaven) praise in fact because they can see whom they are praising. While we are at this level, we will be changed. Our spiritual batteries recharged. Usually we can go back into the world with fresh strength (oil) and effect change in those in (perhaps even of) the world.

If you have ever been at this point, how easy is it for people to swear in your presence? How about tell off color jokes? Does simply being around you effect a change of behavour in others?

.........
Now there is little doubt that the FATHER enjoys the praise and love HE is given from those in heaven. What Does HE think of the praise of us still on earth? From my heart right now I say PRAISE YOU FATHER, I love you.

I would be extremely hesitant (that is putting it mildly) to say God is lonely as if He were in want of anything.

He is complete unto Himself. It is us who must find our completion in Him.

I was saved in Oct 1972 (hence the screen name oldman). In those days breaking through to high praise was normal. I remember one service where a brother sitting right behind me prophesied "Thus saith the lord, The FATHER has heard your praise and has taken in it."
My reaction was. WOW! HE heard us! And our praise actually gave HIM pleasure. almost 50 years later those words are still very real to me.

A few weeks after that in another service we had finished singing a psalm and I raised my hands to praise. I got as far as raising my hands and spoke 'Praise you LORD....." and heard an almost audible voice "why?" Now the word was not harsh or challenging at all. It was the LORD asking what is it about me that you praise? Do you understand what you are saying? Who you are praising?. My response was uh,uh uh and I had to be quiet for a while. "The FATHER searches for those who will worship HIM in spirit and in truth." At that time I did not understand what worship in truth was. He simply wanted me to ,in my heart, to know and understand why I was giving praise.

Perhaps this idea would be better phrased "GOD wants us" however HE does not need us.
Lafftur, I heard what you meant.
