I believe you have a blessed life in the Lord which you have surrendered to Him... and the results are beautiful.

Great song. And I do have an awesome life. God is forever both gracious and faithful. But it takes experiencing those things to recognize them in others so I'm guessing your life is very richly blessed as well. :)

No man would be willing apart from the work of the Holy Spirit...
Is that supposed to refute what was posted? I have been saying all along that it is the POWER of the Gospel and the POWER of the Holy Spirit working together which brings sinners to the Savior.

But God excludes no one, and God does not give the gift of the Holy Spirit to unsaved sinners. First there must be repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. However, the Calvinists reverse that and make a mockery of the Gospel.

Arminianism may be represented by the acronym FACTS:

Freed by Grace (to Believe)
Atonement for All
Conditional Election
Total Depravity
Security in Christ

Total Depravity (Article 3)
  • Humanity was created in the image of God, good and upright, but fell from its original sinless state through willful disobedience, leaving humanity sinful, separated from God, and under the sentence of divine condemnation.
  • Total depravity does not mean that human beings are as bad as they could be, but that sin impacts every part of a person’s being and that people now have a sinful nature with a natural inclination toward sin, making every human being fundamentally corrupt at heart.
  • Therefore, human beings are not able to think, will, nor do anything good in and of themselves, including merit favor from God, save ourselves from the judgment and condemnation of God that we deserve for our sin, or even believe the gospel.
  • If anyone is to be saved, God must take the initiative. source

Molinism offers ROSES:

R Radical Depravity (instead of total depravity)

O Overcoming Grace (instead of irresistible grace)

S Sovereign election (instead of unconditional election)

E Eternal life (instead of perseverance of saints)

S Singular Redemption (instead of limited atonement)

God had Noah build a boat that would take 120 years which allowed generations of People to come to God, even though they rejected Him.

God sent Moses to Pharaoh and showed Pharaoh in a few examples of why Pharaoh and the Egyptian people needed God.

In every situation in the Bible we see how God reveals Himself in hopes that humanity will become Followers of God.

When God makes it a plan all throughout humanity knowing God is going to reveal Himself one way or another, Total DEPRAVITY is a complete Joke!

Humanity is not depraved because God is doing everything He can to help them Believe..

So, This Is Correct, then? John 16:7-9:

"Nevertheless I tell you The Truth; It is expedient for you that I
go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto
you; but if I depart, I Will Send Him unto you. And when
He Is Come, He Will Reprove the world of sin,
and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they
believe not on Me"

Are there not some/Many who are "convicted of their sin," but are not willing?

Their choice, eh?
------------------------
Grace, Peace, And JOY In Christ, And In His Word Of Truth, Rightly
Divided
(+ I and II)!
Yes, revealing one’s sin is half the story, revealing Jesus is the other half.

And Jesus said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

God told Moses he would harden pharaohs heart before Moses arrived in Egypt so pharaoh would not let God's people go.

God‘s foreknowledge before he hardens his heart.

Exodus 3:19 And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand.

Well, if it's the Holy Spirit which convicts of sin as well as reveals the reality of Jesus's crucifixion for our sins, why wouldn't the Spirit do this for all men rather than the elect, seeing "God's not willing that any should perish"?
If you have been saying that all along, instead of a challenge response, where's my like? lol

The Bible specifically says Pharaoh hardened his own heart FIRST before God made it completely hardened.

Interesting how you would mention only half of the process.

Makes me think you're trying to say something untrue.

God gardening pharaohs heart, which appears more than once in the OT, insured pharaoh could not have had a change of heart during the plague period.

I wonder if Pharaoh's fossilized heart was ever found. Maybe we could check how much he hardened and how much God hardened. Anybody up for an archeological dig?

I thought this Pharoah's heart thing was explained by Paul back in Romans...

Romans 9:17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.

Sounds like God's 'doing' to me from the time of pharoah's birth.
