I might be wrong, but I think blasphemy has to be intentional. Intentional irreverent words. I think one can "blaspheme against the Holy Spirit" today in that they can say something blasphemous against the Holy Spirit, but Jesus is talking about the specific sin he saw them commit given the context.

Matthew 12:32 King James Version
32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

People were seeing Jesus do miracles through the Holy Spirit, and some blasphemed against the Holy Spirit after seeing the Holy Spirit at work. Unforgivable according to Jesus.

People get this sin wrong all the time and there is a lot of confusion about it.
One of our Pelagian heretics very recently claimed that Jesus said only those who choose to sin are slaves of sin. But that person intentionally added to Scripture, trying to make a ridiculous point, which basically amounted to, Scripture does not mean what it says. It came across as they want to believe and want others to believe that only atheists wilfully sin, because they say so, although that is not what Scripture says, nor is it what Jesus said. He said everyone who sins is a slave to sin. That we were slaves to sin before being set free by Jesus is repeated throughout Scripture in a number of places. All sin. People make up all kinds of things that are not in the Bible trying to prop up their man made traditions and vain philosophies of man. They are effectively denying the work of the Holy Spirit of God because that is how Scripture was written. They become so invested in their viewpoint that it is nothing to them to fabricate things, bear false witness, and say things that border on blaspheming God, such as saying He raped Mary. Another has repeatedly told us that God is unfair. They mutually agree on the idea that God is an unjust tyrannical monster kidnapping people against their will if He acts unilaterally. But in the final analysis denying the work of the Holy Spirit of God is largely understood as rejecting God, of denying that He sent His Son to save His people from the wages of sin. All other sins are paid for, but if you do not believe in the atoning death of Jesus Christ which paid the sin debt through the shedding of His righteous blood, and subsequent resurrection of our Lord, you will suffer the second death which is everlasting.

Romans 3:21-25a ~ Apart from the law, righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. God presented Him as the atoning sacrifice through faith in His blood.

Again, it doesn't say apostasy is unforgivable. It says apostates cannot be renewed to repentance. This is not the same thing. When Jesus spoke of the unforgivable sin, He spoke of the particular sin of ascribing His work to Satan and not the Spirit.
And I'm not a tulipist. You are. I don't speak about such things, but you interject it into every discussion.
You are biased to see difference whereas I am biased toward equivalence;
ascribing the work of Jesus to Satan is exactly what an apostate does.

Regarding tulipism, you have never disavowed any part of it that I have seen,
but for the record I disavow every point of it and affirm MFW. See the difference?

You are biased towards false equivalence. Apostasy is renouncing the faith. The unforgivable sin is ascribing the works of Jesus to Satan.
This is just one of many false equivalencies you make.

1. "One of our Pelagian heretics very recently claimed that Jesus said only those who choose to sin are slaves of sin. But that person intentionally added to Scripture, trying to make a ridiculous point, which basically amounted to, Scripture does not mean what it says.

TOP #34: Believers should consider themselves dead to sin and serve God with their bodies. [Rom. 6:12-21] They who are under grace should not allow sin to reign in their bodies but should instead serve God as instruments of righteousness.

23. Romans 6:15-23 describes s/e in terms of being slaves to whom one willingly obeys, whether to sin or to obedience of God’s teaching that leads to righteousness, which results in eternal life “in Christ Jesus our Lord” (cf. #10).

2. "Jesus said everyone who sins is a slave to sin. That we were slaves to sin before being set free by Jesus is repeated throughout Scripture in a number of places."

TOJ #189: The truth will set you free from slavery to sin. [John 8:32-36] The resurrection miracles, especially of Jesus, are the critical evidence.

3. "Another has repeatedly told us that God is unfair. They mutually agree on the idea that God is an unjust tyrannical monster kidnapping people against their will if He acts unilaterally."

TOP #22: For Jews, obeying the Mosaic Law will serve as the basis of divine judgment. [Rom. 2:9-13&16] Verse 11 teaches that “God does not show favoritism” (cf. Eph. 6:9, Col. 3:25, 1Pet. 1:17).

44. Regarding Unconditional election, R#10, 11, 14 & 15 specifically cite faith/belief as the condition for receiving s/e. R#17 illustrates this truth with the example of Abraham leading to the conclusion that faith is the condition for justification or s/e in R#18. R#34 laments that Jews as a whole failed to satisfy the condition of faith, and R#35 celebrates that everyone may satisfy that condition.

Matthew 28:19-20

King James Version

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Acts 2:38-39
King James Version
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

1 Corinthians 7:18-20
King James Version
18 Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised.

19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

20 Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.

Your point does remain, but your point is wrong and HIS WORD IS RIGHT.

For this very reason is why there is ONE GOD and ONE BIBLE the KJV and so many different versions of it and denominations today. PEOPLE DON'T LIKE HIS WORD so they make different twist on it, and they don't like what is says and they go with "just say this prayer and your saved" Or saved by "grace alone" or "faith alone" "being baptized in for show" "Paul preached a different message" ETC.

You don't have to be spiritually discerned to be able to read HIS WORD.

Romans 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon (((all men))) to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

Question for you, do you believe HIS word when it say we have to be baptized in JESUS name to get rid of our sins?

How about in John 3:5 when JESUS says we have to be born of water and of spirit? Being born of the spirit is like in Acts 2:3-4. Do you think we need to be baptized and receive the Holy Ghost to be reborn? Yep you will speak in tongues like HIS disciples did.

Well, if you have Mark 16 in mind, that is not found in the more reliable manuscripts,
although I affirm WB and all of my family was WB, so we can say only SB is required and WB is an apt rite to symbolize SB.

And although the disciples spoke in tongues in Acts, in the rest of the NT it is not stated as a requirement,
but instead it was rather problematic per Paul's comments in 1Cor.12&14, so we cannot say it is required either.

Acts 2:38-39 (Jewish) The group did not receive the Holy Ghost the moment they believed in Jesus. However, they were told they could expect the Holy Ghost at some point.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Acts 8:12-17 (Samaritans)
But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

Acts 10:43-48 (Gentiles)
43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

Acts 11:13-14

John 3:5 can just as well be understood as saying a person must be born physically and spiritually.

Regarding Acts, I acknowledge that WB is stated as a requirement, but you may need to acknowledge that
elsewhere WB is NOT stated as a requirement, which makes more sense, because it is a work, and
the clear TOP is that we are saved by faith, NOT by works, although good works possibly including WB
should follow faith (Eph. 2:8-10, Jam. 2:17-24, Gal. 5:22-23).

I'm not questioning Jesus, but I do question your understanding of what the unforgivable sin is. Blasphemy against the Spirit is ascribing the actions of Jesus to Satan and not to the work of the Spirit. Reread the passage and believe what it says. There is nothing about belief in the passage.

This is not blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is to witness the Holy Spirit do a work (such as a healing, etc.) and then blaspheme against him after. Jesus was working through the Holy Spirit when he did his miracles and he said that speaking against him was forgivable, but speaking against the Spirit was not. This sin cannot be performed today because Jesus is not on the earth to witness him do anything through the Holy Spirit (hence no one can blaspheme against him).
here are the words of the Lord Jesus Christ:

Matthew 12:31-32 Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit in this age = the time the Lord Jesus Christ walked the earth and the scribes and pharisees ascribed "the actions of Jesus to Satan".

whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit in the age to come = after the time the Lord Jesus Christ walked the earth.

The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to make known the Lord Jesus Christ ... here are more words from the Lord Jesus Christ concerning this:

John 16:13-14 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

"when he, the Spirit of truth, is come" ... this did not occur until after the Lord Jesus Christ ascended up into heaven (John 16:7)

The Holy Spirit reveals the truth concerning the Lord Jesus Christ. The one who rejects this truth speaks against what the Holy Spirit reveals ...

If the truth is not rejected, God gives increase to the hearer.

However, if the truth is rejected, the person is rejecting the One Who the Holy Spirit glorifies and shows and makes known ... this is blasphemy against the Spirit which, according to the Lord Jesus Christ will not be forgiven ... in the age to come (Matt 12:32).

here are the words of the Lord Jesus Christ:

Matthew 12:31-32 Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

The passage is clear what blasphemy of the Spirit is. You can accept it or not.

I accept what the Lord Jesus Christ said concerning the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit in the age when He was walking on the earth ... as well as in the ages to come ... which includes a time future, after the Lord Jesus Christ ascended up into heaven and sent the Holy Spirit ... Who is still in the world today glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ ... revealing Him to the downtrodden. Additionally, the Holy Spirit works within the born again believer and reveals so much to us ... so, so cool ...

The phrase...neither in this world, neither in the world to come...simply means it will never be forgiven.

The sinners Christ died for receive Justification into life Rom 5:18

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

Thats these right here as well Rom 8:30
no need to skip over to Romans 8 to find out who the free gift came upon ... Romans 5:17 tells us:

Romans 5:17-18 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. ) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

those who receive [Greek lambanō = actively lay hold of to take or receive, to lay hold by aggressively (actively) accepting what is available ... emphasizes the volition (assertiveness) of the receiver] abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness are the ones to whom
justification of life

John 3:5 can just as well be understood as saying a person must be born physically and spiritually.

Regarding Acts, I acknowledge that WB is stated as a requirement, but you may need to acknowledge that
elsewhere WB is NOT stated as a requirement, which makes more sense, because it is a work, and
the clear TOP is that we are saved by faith, NOT by works, although good works possibly including WB
should follow faith (Eph. 2:8-10, Jam. 2:17-24, Gal. 5:22-23).
You are right we we do have to be reborn physically to be reborn.

If you were not born physically you would not be able to be REBORN.

You would not be able to read HIS word.

You would not be able to OBEY HIS word.

In John 3:6 JESUS separates the two. Which is born of flesh (natural) is flest, what is born of spirit is spirit.

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

In John 3:5 JESUS is clear need BOTH to be reborn.

Acts 2, they were filled with the Holy Ghost, scripture doesn't say when they were baptized in JESUS name (my thoughts can't back it up with scripture, they were a part of the 3 thousand) and the ones who had JESUS hung on the cross were baptized in JESUS name, it does not say they spoke in tongues. BUT after they OBEYED and 3 thousand souls were added.

Acts 8, they were baptized in JESUS name and HOW DID THEY KNOW THEY DID NOT GET THE HOLY GHOST?????

Yep did not speak in tongues, they sent for Peter and John and days later got the Holy Ghost.

Acts 10, they got the Holy Ghost and Peter COMMANDED them to be baptized in JESUS name.

Acts 19, Have you received the Holy Ghost SINCE YOU HAVE BELIEVED? HOW WERE YOU BAPTIZED???

Paul knew since they didn't know of the Holy Ghost and they were baptized by John they needed to be bapitzed in JESUS name. THEY OBEYED also, were baptized and received the Holy Ghost.

After the book of Acts those are letters to CHURCHS that Paul started with the foundation of the book of Acts the building of the church, NOT TO THE UNSAVED.

Ephesians 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

Ephesians 2:8-10
We are saved by grace! What does the name john mean in hebrew?

In Hebrew, the name John, as it is spelled and pronounced in English, is derived from the name Yochanan (יוֹחָנָן). The name Yochanan, in turn, means "God is gracious" or "God has been gracious". It combines the elements "Yo" (a shortened form of God's name, Yahweh) and "chanan" (meaning "to be gracious").

GOD GRACLEY GAVE US WATER TO REMOVE OUR SINS.

James 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
James 2:17-24 Are you implying that being baptized is a work???

Who is doing the work?
The person being baptized? Walking in the water is a work?
The person baptizing? YES, he is doing his job storing his tresusers in Heaven as a JESUS follower as JESUS commanded him to do. Matthew 28 18-19
OR IS IT JESUS himself who is doing the work, HE'S THE one who is forgiving our sins??

Galatians 1:1 Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)
2 And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:
Gal. 5:22-23
We should have the fruit of the spirit!

Question for you, why do you question the book of Acts and HIS disciples?
You don't think they know what they are speaking of?

Have YOU received the Holy Ghost since you have belived? HOW were YOU baptized?
My point remains and its correct
Ok, well how do you know who he di
My point remains and its correct
So you chose your word over HIS?

It's called free will.

What do you think these verse say and mean?

Acts 2:38-39
King James Version
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
