this argument to me is not real. in my native tongue the word for easter and passover is the same word. we only have one word for it.

thats why "easter is pagan" is like saying "passover is pagan" here. we dont have this debate lolz
No one here said Easter was pagan. The day in which Easter is observed has pagan roots. And the reason it was picked rather than using the Passover cycle was due to prejudice against the Jews.

Last I checked saying "Easter was pagan" equals "The day in which Easter is observed has pagan roots" means one is claiming Easter is in fact pagan. Playing word games on you part does not cut the cheese.

could be change to gregorian calendar also.

who cares about any of this? days sabbaths new moons. all meaningless to the born again christian (jew or gentile) in the body of Christ.

Colossians 2:16 Therefore, don't let anyone judge you in regard to food and drink or in the matter of a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day.

here is the thing people- judeaizers tie everything to Sabbath keeping for salvation. so, the whole Resurrection undermines this.

so, they come in and say " celebrate Passover, not Easter. keep the Sabbath, do NOT go to church on sunday."

they even try to convince us we are worshiping pagan gods- ( Easter- nimrod. sunday- the sun god ).
of course, there are pagan roots or ties to most everything we see, but they jump all over these, because these are easily tied to the Sabbath.

do not fall for their tricks and propaganda. believe on Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. thank Him and praise Him for what he did today ( Esater) and every day hereafter!
Amen. Jesus is my Passover Lamb. I am covered with/by His righteous blood :) Today, and for all eternity

It isn't the word that is against the lord's way, it is the way salvation through Christ is celebrated. The Lord tells us to celebrate it was the Passover feast, we celebrate it at another date and another way.

The debate is whether we should follow what God says or what man says.

You my friend, are a sinner! Eating Easter candy!! I bet you even bite the ears of the chocolate bunny first!!
Actually, my wife is the one who bites the ears off first. I take the little Peeps and chomp the heads off first. I must be a pagan or a barbarian of something like that. :)
