Inner affections draw to you the church you go to...if your affections come from your carnal mind then a false church will suit you
If they come from your new heart and are Godly affections they will be drawn to a good church.
So really you get the church you deserve.
It is written in the New Testament that in the beginning of a walk with Jesus, a person thinks with a carnal mind. That teaching speaks personally of each of us. As far as, "a false church will suit you" and, "So you get the church you deserve" You have literally condemned every Christian church; and to an extent, what you said here is true. The obedience of God's people is not to a church whose teacher knows very little in God's sight; But the obedience of God's people is under HIS authority (who knows all things). This is revealed several ways in creation language, and the life of Jesus.
It is through Jesus that 'church and state' are brought together. This is spoken of in the Old Testament and the New Testament through parables.
This does not mean that today we can pick one man and one religion for leadership of our country, as one who knows all things. The obedience of God's people is to have Jesus sitting in the seat of authority that rules over both parts; the needs of the flesh, and the needs of the spirit of a man. Concerning Christ's authority, a man came to Jesus and asked Him, Who should that money go to? Jesus responded with, "Give to Caesar what is Caesars', and to God what belongs to Him. The coin with Caesar's face on it, pertained to the needs of the flesh. But the things which belong to God pertain to the eternal part of the man. Now I am speaking of both church and state as being under one authority; but not accord to the designs of men; Jesus is saying that both parts of us are under His authority. This is personal; and because it is personal, both Church and State are under One Authority. This is why by nature there seem to be many who want the church to rule over state. This would be a disaster on our part; but because it is in our nature, we know spiritually that to some extent it is true.
