B
There is purpose in me asking what I'm asking, but don't expect a sermon after the questions are answered. I will, however reveal why I ask at some point. (I'm not good at patience nor quiet, but I will try to keep quiet as long as I can. lol)
Three simple question:
1. What were you expecting the first time you came on BDF? (BDF -- Bible Discussion Forum. Where you just landed, in case this was an accident.)
2. What did you want?
3. What do you get? But this is a two part question:
3a. What do you get that you weren't planning on getting.
3b. What do you get out of returning? (Why do you come back?)
Full freedom in answering however you want to answer, because that is what I'm hoping you will do -- answer however you will answer.

2/ I wanted to feel I wasn't alone.
3/ I get encouragement, I get sorrow, I get frustrated.
3a/ I am getting to know some real Christians, even if not face to face, and the discernment in me is growing.
3b/ I keep coming back because I can't leave. I have wanted to But Jesus won't let me.
Was I quiet long enough?
My only questions after seeing the results is this:
Has everyone noticed how different the expectation, wants and needs are from one another? Is it a bad thing that they are so different?

At Church one time we did a psychological exercise directed at finding out what type of person we were, and then to see whether it was relevant to our walk with the lord. It was a fun and get to know each other kind of exercise. But whatever your personality is God will use it to His plan, I don't think God changes who we are because it's us He loves, but He does change what and how we are.
Now my reasons being here have changed, I still look at the prayer requests and answer those I feel led to. I do get the impression through BDF that most understand the nearness of Christ's return, and I am starting to realise that biblical knowledge for some seems to be out of reach and that concerns me when it is so easy to obtain.
So what about you Depleted? How do you answer?
