"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition" (2 Thessalonians 2:3 )
I think the man of sin Satan is revealed by the three avenues accredited to the father of lies.

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

I think the falling away is falling from the "faith of Christ" (trusting God not seen) falling from a living labor that works in us, as that in view . When we do deny Him in unbelief we do in effect fall away . He calls us back to repentance .He cannot deny himself if has began the good work in us that he will finish it. (Phil 1:6)

Things are changing rapidly. Experience seems to be the new validator of Spiritual truth therefore making the word of God, as in all things written in the law and the prophets (sola scriptura) without effect.

Makes me wonder as found in Luke 18:8 .When Christ comes will he find His faith as it is written working in these the earthen bodies? Or will all like in the days of Noah be walking after the experiences as imagination of their own hearts? And a old fashion religious book made up of 66 chapters. ?

That falling away was in regard to the rebellion of Israel, Kings in Israel until the timing of the 1st century reformation . Sola scriptura was challenged by a law of men, called faithless fathers calling the word of God a heresy. Just as in the 15th century, a carbon copy to identify the one source of faith that is not after the imaginations of ones heart, as it is written.

Three times in Mathew 4 the Son of man, Jesus was challenged to walk by faith hearing the will of the father or believe the illusion coming from his own fleshly mind tempted after the father of lies . All three time the Son of Man, Jesus established he had heard the father, working with him in order to finish the work as it is written, and again as it is written .. revealing the gospel the power unto salvation.

Experience out of body or I had a dream or vison is clearly not the validator of spiritual unseen matters of faith. Christ experrnced that work in Mathew 4 and came out victorious over the illusion some create in their minds.

Don’t Follow Rules That People Make
So don’t let anyone make rules for you about eating and drinking or about Jewish customs (festivals, New Moon celebrations, or Sabbath days). In the past these things were like a shadow that showed what was coming. But the new things that were coming are found in Christ. Some people enjoy acting as if they are humble and love to worship angels.(fleshly illusion) They always talk about the visions they have seen. Don’t listen to them when they say you are wrong because you don’t do these things. It is so foolish for them to feel such pride, because it is all based on their own human ideas.(illusions) They don’t keep themselves under the control of the head. Christ is the head, and the whole body depends on him. Because of Christ all the parts of the body care for each other and help each other. So the body is made stronger and held together as God causes it to grow. Colossians 2:16-19 EVR

Hi Warrie, You don't have to worry that your friends are not going to heaven, if they are among those that Christ died for, because he said he would raise them all up at the last day. We, however, should be concerned about them and try to encourage them to return to the assembly because they will die to the fellowship and spiritual nourishment that only comes from assembling and worshiping God with those of like faith.
Yes I believe they would still be saved if they were born again. I just used to notice believers turning their backs that I didn't know personally.. but now it's right in the 'back yard ' so to speak, so its harder to understand
