Nobody talks about Calvin here. So your post is quite irrelevant.

Also, Calvin was not a Catholic. What an absurd idea.

History disagrees with you.

Calvin was born into a Catholic family and baptized and confirmed Catholic. At 12 he was employed as a clerk to a catholic Bishop. His Father wanted all 3 of his Sons, including John, to join the priesthood. Calvin left the Catholic Church in 1530.

I don't think English is the problem here...

Just seems like some folks need to open up their eyes...and quit getting hung up on one or two words...Just Read the whole Bible in context because it don't contradict its self...Just saying...

But it's nice to know that you are so concerned about learning English..:)
And where do you see any contradiction in what we call "calvinism"?

So because I was a charismatic for lets say 10 years and then left, I will be still labeled as Charismatic, even though I am strongly against it in almost every discussion? I see no logic in this.

The fact that babies are all saved and do not go to hell if they are not elect. If you believe in double predestination and that all men are slaves to sin and Jesus did not die for all men, then babies and kids are not exempt and by your own beliefs go to hell if they are not elect.

The bible is not explicitly clear about babies. Ppl use 2 Samuel 12 to support the notion that babies go to heaven automatically.

If that's the case, wouldn't parents be rolling the dice by allowing them to come to the 'age of accountability' and then dying and going to hell?

You said he was not a Catholic, you would be wrong, He was catholic and then left. When he left Catholicism, you were then correct, he was no longer a Catholic at that point. Your statement implies he never was and if I read it wrong, my fault.

First, the salvation of children is based on our opinions only, we have no information about this issue. So it is not any part of calvinism' creeds.

Second, you used a wrong logic. If all babies are saved, then all babies were predestined to be saved and are therefore elect. I am not sure how you can think otherwise, like if it was possible for God to loose control.

Well, it may not be clear to others. I was not attacking trofimus, I was seeking clarification.

Calvin did not die a Catholic, but he was born one and lived as one until 1530, then he broke with the church, ceasing to be a Catholic.

I do not think Calvin was ever too much into beign a catholic. It was more about his parents, I would say. And he left that way quite early (in his twenties).

The most "catholic" event in his life was that he worked as a clerk for a bishop when he was 12. Surely under the influence of parents.

But whatever, Calvin is not as important to calvinism as the name would suggest. :) "Calvinism" was there before Calvin.

Please provide scripture to support the notion all babies go to hell, who are not saved , then part of the elect.
