EG you talk as if you are the authority.
And that would be different than you how?

What law are you talking about? The law of Moses or the law of Christ?
And when you sin, which law are you breaking so that you know what sin is?

And if after coming to faith you fall away, how is this rebellion not counted against you?

Why because of faith morality no longer actually applies?

And when I walk in the Spirit, if I sin, I have a way of being cleansed through
repentance, confession and faith in the forgiveness offered through the cross.
What is always preeminent is faith?

But faith can fail, as Jesus prayed that it did not for Peter when he denied Christ
3 times.

And why if there is not law over you do you feel so concerned about sin?

The law of Christ is harder to keep than the law of moses. It is more complex and much more involved, and much harder to keep. Because it takes complete humility.

I can obey the law do not commit adultery.. It does not mean I obeyed the law of love or of Christ.

So if you can not keep the law of moses. What makes you think you can keep the law of CHrist and be saved by it.. When the law of moses imposes a CURSE for all who do not obey, and news flah. that law is still ineffect..

It is strange that those who claim they are not under any law, cannot do
anything they like. Why not? There is no sin for them.

Pauls argument with marriage is once the husband has died the wife is free
to marry again because the law has become now dead.

Now Paul uses two laws. The law of Moses to which we have died, and the law
of Christ to which we are bound. Under the law of Moses, the sabbath was a binding
principle, which I have never kept in the biblical sense.

It appears the law of Moses existed because Christ had not yet been revealed.
The temple and all its ceremonies were the shadow of what Christ actually is.

And the law of relationships and morality is fulfilled by the love planted in our
hearts. Except for some this appears very dormant. And in my experience
took many years to become fully expressed. I think this is largely because I had
no clue what bound me or how to walk within it, emotionally or spiritually.

Now people talk about change as if change is about sin rather than growth
in how we express love and love one another. As relationships grow and develop
new things happen, but it is not that the previous was evil, it was just different.

But this argument was used as if change meant not being acceptable by God, ie
perfect before His eyes, so it must be we are sinning. It is like saying a child
is a child so must be the sinful version of an adult. No, growth is part of any
relationship and is perfect in Gods sight.

Sorry this does not make sense to me. In Christ we have the Holy Spirit and communion
with God, 24/7. It is a different way of being, so it is not the legalist view of the law,
it is where our hearts want to go, in truth and reality.

But maybe you do not experience this from what you are writing.

I try and share what scripture says and derive all my ideas from the bible and my
experience with God.

You on the other hand seem to disregard obvious biblical principles to fit a theology
that gets you off the hook. I follow what the Lord leads me into through His word.
If I am doomed so be it, if I am free and in love, so be it, I am merely a servant to the King.

I have to caviate this with Jesus has poured so much into my life and I am so weak
unless he had sorted it out I would be nowhere.

Amen! The true love of the father.

who would stop having faith in this?
Well I don't know, the who is only the folks who stop having faith in the truth.

If I'm not mistaking I think it was Paul who said forgive your neighbor if all possible, it's important to do so for we are all here today and gone tomorrow no ones knows that except God as when that day may come but if people can do it before it's to late to not do it with that person, not doing it can have a life long time of wishing it could have been reconciled between them.

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Heb 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

1Co 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Rom 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
Rom 11:21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.

Rom 14:22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
Rom 14:23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

1Co 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

1Ti 1:18 This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;
1Ti 1:19 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:
1Ti 1:20 Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.

1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.

1Ti 5:11 But the younger widows refuse: for when they have begun to wax wanton against Christ, they will marry;
1Ti 5:12 Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith.

1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

1Ti 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
1Ti 6:21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.

2Ti 2:18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

Jas 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
Jas 2:15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
Jas 2:16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
Jas 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Jas 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

Rev 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
Rev 3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Joh 20:27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
Joh 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
Joh 20:29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Faith is the evidence of things not seen, which we have to believe in a kingdom that we cannot see,and believe in God that we cannot see,but to believe in this kingdom and God,we also have to have the right perspective concerning this kingdom and God,for to not have the right perspective concerning this kingdom and God,would put someone in error of faith, and then grace could not apply in their life, for we are saved by grace through faith,so if you do not have the proper perspective of faith then grace cannot apply in your life.

God's kingdom is based on love, and a kingdom that helps each other out by ways of needs.

God hates sin,and wants us to abstain from sin, which we can do by the Spirit.

To not have the proper perspective, and abide by this kingdom and God,how they operate, means that their faith is in error, and grace does not apply.

The love of money is the root of all evil, which some coveted after have erred from the faith, because it violates the two greatest commandments, love God,and love people, for it negects the poor, and needy, and if any person believes that God blesses with money and material things, and teach such, withdraw from them, having food and clothing,be content.

Rev 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.

Yet there are millions of people that believe God blesses with material and monetary gain, and some that do not care but heap it to themselves anyway, whether they believe OSAS or not,and all these people have erred from the faith, and grace cannot apply in their life, because they do not have the proper perspective of faith concerning this kingdom and God,and it is about love, for the prosperity Gospel neglects this love.

Isa 59:1 Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
Isa 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
Isa 59:12 For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them;
Isa 59:13 In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.
Isa 59:14 And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.
Isa 59:15 Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.
Isa 59:16 And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.
Isa 59:17 For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke.
Isa 59:18 According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence.

2Ti 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

1Co 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
1Co 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
1Co 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
1Co 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

God hates sin,and wants us to abstain from it,which is the purpose of why Jesus came,so that His shed blood can wash away our sins, and we can receive the Holy Spirit,in which a Spirit led life will not fulfill the desires of the flesh, will abstain from sin,so we can be right with God.

To hold unto sin would put a person in the position of not having the right perspective of this kingdom and God,for it represents goodness, and not wickedness as the world.

Yet there are millions of people who say sin does not affect their relationship with Christ, and they cannot abstain from sin,and from what I observe there is a lot of worldliness among those who believe OSAS.

We are saved by grace through faith, for faith comes first before grace takes place, but to not have the proper persective of faith would mean they erred from the faith,do not have faith active in their life,so then grace cannot apply in their life.

Lawlessness is seeking to replace God and His activity in Christ with our own activity - no matter how good it appears to be on the outside.

When we start to live conscious of the Lord as our righteousness, we will begin to manifest His life of righteousness that is already in us outwardly. From the inside out, genuine good works, obedience, holiness and love will flow unabated out of an authentic relationship with our loving heavenly Father.

There is a prescribed order of victory in the New Covenant. Until the believer sees his death on the cross with Jesus, he cannot experience Christ as his life as a new man in Christ. - the new creation.

You do not get it.
I can be perfect under the law. Yet still in sin under the law of Christ.
Stop thinking I am out to attack you and try to understand what I am trying to say..
EG - I am sorry. You sound to me like someone trying to love rather than just resting
in acceptance of Christ and loving because that is who Christ has made you to be.

I get stressed sometimes. Now I am an old man by some measures. But in my heart I am
who I have always been. I get on my bed and curl up like I did as a child and remember the
security I felt then, when the world was strange and all was safe. Now this is where I am
in Christ. And in this place where I am safe I can love, because if I get hurt, Christs love
overflows and heals, puts things into context and gives me strength.

God did this with Elijah. Context makes all the difference inside, when things just get too
much. So what Christ says in his commands is more like, because you know me and dwell
in me, this is how far you can now go. And I say truly amen.

Now do not get me wrong. I am not trying to boast, I am sharing to encourage, to bring
a different perspective. We are in Christ, we rest secure in the knowledge of His overwhelming
love, so much so we can pass out knowing where we are.

This is why I wonder at what people talk about in such spiritual terms, because for me I do not
have such issues. So I do get it. But you think your experience defines how we experience
spirituality, where as I know there are probably as many experiences of communing with Christ
as their are people. I know my 3 kids and they are very different, with their own language of
love and belonging and that is just in my immediate family.

The law of Moses was absolute, eather you abided by it or you didn't. Anger was the same as murder. Lust was the same as adultery. Go down the list. The Jews did not choose to read the law that way but Jesus was quick to correct them. Not one person could satisfy the law then, now or ever. The law was given by God for that very purpose, It showed us just how dead we are. Chris is our only hope of salvation then, now or ever!

Are you sure? Surely the law of Moses was written to run a nation called Israel and the
temple and sacrifices, and it worked. It was much more than just a way of saying you guys are
sinners. So I suggest you do a bit more bible study.
