I didn't read all the other posts, so this may already have been brought up , but here goes anyhow Paul was the who supposely taught us about predestition So if this be true then why would he say
2ti 2:10Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also
OBTAIN the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
The elect is referring to the Chosen, God's chosen people have always and will always be the Jewish nation. For all Israel shall be saved. if the elect means, the predestined then why did Paul who gave us the dorctine of GRACE, say that they needed to obtain salvation. now you can't say that Paul didn't know who the elect was here. for it says very clearly that even the elect needed to obtain salvation, that even the elect has a choice to make.
the thing that really bothers me about the doctrine of Grace (predestintion) is if before time as we knew we the ones that will get in were already predetermined to be there where is the cross in the doctrine of Grace, I mean if I was already sent to hell why did Jesus have to go to the cross there was already a way for salvation and the cross has no effect
1co 1:17For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none
EFFECT.
