Psa 22:22 I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.
Psa 22:23 Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.
Psa 22:24 For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
Psa 22:25 My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.
Psa 22:26 The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.
Psa 22:27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
Psa 22:28 For the kingdom is the LORD'S: and he is the governor among the nations.

Please read all the Psalm; it is the story of our Savior on the Cross.

Does anyone else ever meditate on the difference between Jacob and Israel so often stressed in the Word? From the day I knew Jesus, Yeshua, I have had my understanding, but it seems for now, it is my understanding until someone else teaches me from his/her own experience. Please use simple terms, for I am not a complicated beleiver.

My understanding of Hebrew poetry is that often a truth will be repeated in a slightly different form for emphasis.

What a great thought this thread brings to mind. Looking back to Jacobs birth and Esau you can see mama Rebekah hearing from the LORD about the two nations in Gen.25; 23. I find that to be such a great picture of things. All of us can remember when we were Jacob the deceiver and GOD turned us into Israel = the man who turns the head of GOD. Jacob wouldnt let go for NOTHING He held on with all he had until the LORD blessed him maybe this is the real point to all of us. Just hold on no matter what happens. Love you brothers and sisters cant wait to see where this thread goes it should be awesome full of little treasures the Lord has given each of us Blessings to JaumeJ and all.

One thing we see; after the portrayal of the crucifixion praise and worship abound. Set free from Pharoah, yeah!
