After the resurrection of Jesus, the Israelites became the early Christians, and the Edomites the religious Jews. After the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD, both the Israelites and the Edomites went into exile and spread around the world. The Edomites settled mostly in Khazaria and North Africa, later in Europe. The Khazar Edomites and African Edomites eventually became what we know today as the Ashkenazic and Sephardic Jews.

And where is the proof modern "Israel" is not Israel? The answer is in prophecy:

Isaiah 65:15 You shall leave your name to my chosen for a curse,
and the Lord God will put you to death,
but his servants he will call by another name,

As you read, God will give Israel another name. How in the world can a state named "Israel" claim to be the Biblical Israel, when God prophesied Israel will have ANOTHER name???

as for Israel. the op and others need to read and study Lev 26. God is not done with Israel. Pul said in romans 11 they are to be beloved because of the election but hated concerning the gospel.

i did. it's mostly opinion with some fact. Christ changed everything on the Cross. even edomites are allowed to accept Christ and be one of us. nowhere in the New testament do we see them being condemned like YOU chose to do. i will remain faithful to the Inspired words Paul gave to us about the Jews of his day. Esau and Jacob share the same DNA as Isaac and Abraham. and once the edomites were integrated, the bloodline became one. they are Jews!

nowhere does it say Jacob's bloodline was scattered until it no longer exists. Esau and Jacob have the "same" blood. the DNA is 99.9% identical with .01% being hair color/smooth vs hairy skin, eye color, weight, height etc. they are the same people.
